Do yourself a favor and at least demo an iron or two.  You will not regret it.  Even if you hate the clubs, it only cost you $20.

Thanks for coming out and visiting!!!  Jason is great to work with and is really passionate about getting people into the right setup.  For anyone that's not in the area...we will always do everything we can to provide a great fitting by phone, email or through social media chats.  The demo program is a great option to help narrow it down as well.  Thanks for the feedback and support!

For those that have the CB/MB combo set, how do the top lines look?  Is the CB any thicker than the MB?  If you had to compare the look from address to any of the big(ger) brand clubs, what would you compare these to?

Sycamore IL is directly en route to the UP from Salt Lake City, no?

I will try and get some photos up of my combo set. I can compare them with the Srixon 765 and 965.

Here are 2 photos showing the Sub 70 CB and MB irons vs Srixon 965 and 765 irons. The Sub 70 irons are on the left. Srixon on the right. Let me know if you have any more questions. The Sub 70 will be in the bag again in 2020!

I really like the look of their hybrids and wedges.

Will definitely consider them when I need an upgrade

The CB are very very slightly thicker than the MB...and honestly the MB's are probably some of the thicker blades you will find. I dont mean that as a bad thing, but if people are looking for slimmer blades then these are not it. With that being said ive loved the performance of them all year. Performance wise id put these up against anything on the market.

is there better?? Yea... Is there worse?? Yea. But for the price you definitely will be very happy! These are high quality forged irons for an unbeatable price

The top line on the SRIXON 965 is 5mm.  The top line on the SUB 70 MB is 4.5mm  very close, but the Sub 70 is thinner.  You can see it in the photos.  The Sub 70 also have a slightly smaller profile which is nice.

im surprised by that. I had the 965s last year and liked the look, definitely on the longer side of blades. The 7-P MB's I have look chunky. Sometimes I think I may have gotten the MB Plus instead. Ill post a pic when I get home but my PW is very thick up top and noticeable offset

I think there is slightly more offset on the SUB 70 MB's vs the Srixon giving that look.  I measured them where the face lines meet the top line on the toe.

I had my sub 70 hat on at the range today and one of our Mini Tour guys was all over me. He’s very interested in the CBs - that should tell all of us something.

I have a friend with those and told the guy I would invite him (my friend) to play a week from Sunday afternoon. He said he’d meet us on the range to try them - my friend has Project x 5.5’s in his so the guy will at least get a feel for them.

I was playing at the simulator at the course I’ve taken lessons at. The pro who gave me lessons was there so I had him take a look at my Sub 70 irons. He had heard of them and been on their website but had never seen any of their products up close. He was very impressed by the quality of them.

I just talked with Sub 70's CEO, Jason Hiland, for ten minutes about my game and what I want and need in my next set of irons. Based on our conversation, I'm gonna demo both their new 699 Pro irons and 639 CBs and make a decision from there. Where else are you gonna get that kind of customer service?

I was considering another set of Ben Hogan irons, but having a direct line to the CEO is a difference-maker for me. Who else stands behind their products to that degree?

Please let us know how how you're hitting your new 699's versus your current gamers.

Have a feeling either the 699 Pros or new W/S D7 Forged will be replacing my CF16s soon.

Just waiting for sub70 to release the demos to give them a try.

I'm taking a good hard look at their hybrid, anyone have some good experience there?

Also, after being a Lynx Black Cat tester, and roaming around on the Sub70 site for a while, the 699 irons and the Black Cat look very similar - I wonder if they are from the same "open" design (I think that's what it's called)

Either way, I'd love some feedback on the hybrid! My current hybrid is 10 ish years old by now

Hybrid is a solid club;   I like it,  just didn't perform as well as the Titleist for me but that could be due to the shaft.    I have one for sale in the classified section if you are interested.
