I am hopeful that Jason's recommendations via phone will work out well. I briefly thought about trying to go out there when I am in Chicago next week for work, but will have absolutely no time to do so. I got lucky and able to parley my trip to see my daughter play lacrosse at college and have time to go see Sub 70. Plus I am pretty sure their brew pub is open. 3 Quote Epic GBB driver 10.5 turned down to 9.5 Hzruds 6.5 smoke shaft. Syks7 1,172
Finished rebuilding the used 699pro/639cb set I bought and took them to the range. One for one yardage wise with the 4&5 iron with a negligible drop through the 639cbs (mostly due to slightly weaker loft). Non standard lofts that came with the set. I'll get them adjusted eventually. +/- 5ish yards. Nice Mid-high ball flight throughout the set that should be good for control. They're getting put in play for the Thursday and Friday tournaments I'm signed up for, wish me luck. 4 Quote Driver: 2016 M2 -- Fujikara ventus red 3 Wood RBZ Stage 2 - Diamana Blue Board 2 Hybrid RBZ Stage 2 -- TT Elevate Tour MP60 3/PW Nippon Modus 115 T22 52° -- TT Elevate Tour Hi Toe 58° -- TT Elevate Tour Innovai 6.0 CTR Ball: Zstar XV Divide

Robert Gamblin 6
As good as anything I’ve ever hit, Even though I’m hitting P790’s now, I’ve still hitting the 19.5 degree and 17 degree driving irons still , But I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the my 699 Pro’s again which I still have
jdennish 20
Let me tell you about Sub70, I too had read about them and I was looking for some new wedges, so I said what the heck. They have a "no questions asked" return policy, that you can return them within 60 days. I was so impressed with the wedges, that I ordered a set of 5-A 699 irons. They felt great, but I hit them way too high. I called them and spoke directly to Jason and he and I talked a length about my game. We went over my current irons PXG and the shafts in them and he gave me some recommendations. I went with an upgrade to the AeroTech Steel Fiber I70. They paid for my shipping both ways andI got them back in less than 2 weeks. They are sweet, much better than my PXG's, which I sold. I have since ordered their 849D driver, sold my Ping 425 and last week I got their 005 Wide Blade putter, so solid. Their customer service is the BEST in the industry. They answer the phone and work with you. I have gotten a personal note, hat, ball marker and stickers on every order I have placed. Check them out, they also have a demo program for trying their products if you don't want to purchase without trying. I'm a Lefty and didn't have as much to chose from, but I'm telling you, if you are not hung up on having "name brand" equipment, their products are top of the line. 7 Quote Sub70 849D Driver Ping G415 3 Wood Callaway Epic 5 Wood Ping G415 22* Hybrid Sub70 699 irons Aerotech Steel Fiber I70 graphite shafts an NO1 50 grips Sub70 286 Forged wedges 54* and 60* Evnroll ER2 putter...... whichever one is working that day on the practice green True Pro Lux and True Links Knit shoes
gd4me 3
I've been following the Sub70 posts on this site for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. I purchased a 949X 3 wood a couple weeks ago. I've played a few rounds with it and am very satisfied with the quality and functionality of the club. I chose an Evenflow Riptide (Black) shaft. They have a variety of stock shafts to choose from. The club is adjustable and has movable weights. There is a 60 day, full refund period, so there's really no risk. They also have a demo program that is really reasonable. All in all, great bang for the buck, so much so, I plan on picking up their 5 wood. The CS is excellent as well.
MisterT 28
I have a Sub70 putter in my bag that I self-fit into and love it. I wanted a heavier head as my tendency is to go offline on the backswing and the Sycamore 002 Mid-mallet fit the bill. It was assembled and shipped quickly. The one thing I wish I would have done was review the options more thoroughly as I should have selected a larger grip. I have since purchased one which made all the difference for me. I also tried their demo program for the 699 Pro irons and liked what I tried, but didn't find much difference between them and my then-current gamers (2017 TM M1), so I stuck with what I had. It is likely that more Sub70 clubs will be in my bag at some point. 3 Quote Taylormade SIM2 8° Fujikura Ventus Blue with VeloCore 6-R TaylorMade M5 15° Project X HZRDUS Red 75 6.0 or Srixon ZX 16° KBS Tour Prototype 85 R Callaway Big Bertha 19° KBS Tour Prototype 85 S Srixon 4-AW Nippon Modus 3 105 R Cleveland ZipCore 54° Mid and 58° Mid DG Spinner Sub70 Mid-Mallet Sycamore 002 34.5" Titleist Pro V1x Arccos Gen 3 sensors

Syks7 1,172
The maiden round with the 639cb/699pros didn't go as well as I'd hoped. None of it was the fault of the irons though. Approach and iron play was excellent, I just had a few Stupids off the tee, with the putter, and with the wedges. Love the feel & (feedback) of the 639cbs and the top end of the bag 4 and 5 iron 699 pros are rocket launchers. Can't wait to play again tomorrow. 4 Quote Driver: 2016 M2 -- Fujikara ventus red 3 Wood RBZ Stage 2 - Diamana Blue Board 2 Hybrid RBZ Stage 2 -- TT Elevate Tour MP60 3/PW Nippon Modus 115 T22 52° -- TT Elevate Tour Hi Toe 58° -- TT Elevate Tour Innovai 6.0 CTR Ball: Zstar XV Divide

Syks7 1,172
Alright fellas. Who has a 699 pro U. I have a hybrid that I like but don't love. When I'm on with it its great, when I'm off its useless. It's kind of a love hate thing I've had with hybrids. I like the look of/feel more comfortable standing over an iron and am mulling the idea of swapping the hybrid out for a driving iron. I'm reasonably sure I'm going to love it off the tee, but I'm unsure of how it's going to perform off the deck in the fairway and light rough. I need it to fill a gap between my 4 iron and 3 wood. If it's only good off the tee that's not going to work for me. Any experience? 2 Quote Driver: 2016 M2 -- Fujikara ventus red 3 Wood RBZ Stage 2 - Diamana Blue Board 2 Hybrid RBZ Stage 2 -- TT Elevate Tour MP60 3/PW Nippon Modus 115 T22 52° -- TT Elevate Tour Hi Toe 58° -- TT Elevate Tour Innovai 6.0 CTR Ball: Zstar XV Divide
Hobert 874
I arrived home after 11pm last night, beat from two days in a conference room negotiating an agreement. Popped open the box this morning to take a peek. Clubs look great. The "demo" 849D is brand new with plastic still on the club head. Can't wait to hit the range over the next day or two. As always, shipment arrived with a variety of extras including a hat, a new style ball marker, tees, stickers, and of course a signature Sub70 handwritten note. Will be curious how you like the 849D. I bought one right after Christmas and really like it so far. It has replaced the Ping G410 in my bag. Still dialing in the loft and weights but so far so good and Jason has given some recommendations. Hope you hit it well
