PcolaGolfGuy
I finally got back to playing golf the other day after taking about 8 month break. Me and my wife recently had a baby boy about 8 months ago so that was the reason for the break. It felt really good to play again and it reminded me of how much I missed it. Even though I have only been playing about 2-3 years. I’m excited for the spring and summer ! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
Kenny B
Congratulations!! Welcome back to golf and the forum. I have found that after a long layoff, my driver worked pretty well, but my short game sucked. Spend a little more time working on chipping and putting; it's the first to go and the last to come back. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
revkev
No better reason to take a break! Been there, done that a few times. juspoole
Welcome back. I've been on a similar road. Still getting out when I can, but my wife and I have had 3 children in the past 4 years, I've not had to take any 8 month breaks like you did, but my golf went down from averaging 25 rounds a year to around 8.
