Charli
So last years golf trip was west Maryland and on our way back to nj we played bulle rock. Great stop even though it was 100 degrees. Question for everyone does anyone know of a course that’s equal or better than bulle rock? We don’t really care about price. And just kind of has to be on our way back home to south jersey. We can go through Maryland last Baltimore or even go through PA. So we have different routes if need be
null
Deerfield in Newark DE is pretty good if you've never played it before
Mr. 82
Whiskey Creek, musket Ridge, Worthington Manor are all in the Frederick, MD area and are all fantastic. If you get near Gettysburg, I strongly recommend The Links at Gettysburg. My favorite course in that area by far. PAgolfer2017
Maryland National isn’t too far and is right next to musket. If you travel 81 you could stop at Penn National. If you’re coming from Bal thru PA on 83 I’d also recommend Royal Manchester or Heritage Hills. Lots of good options for you. Charli
Yeah those all sound good. I’m going to have to do some research. Bulle rock was great but want to try out a different one this year.
Charli
Let me also say they must have a range this is the final stop for a Ryder cup match. So this should top everything
bens197
I’ll second GSwag and say Musket Ridge. It’s gorgeous. So this should top everything Musket has a nice range. And Maryland National is pretty much right next door if you want to try to squeeze two rounds in. Golfspy_CG2
All the ones above are good. But the best of the bunch is Whiskey Creek. Followed pretty closely by Musket Ridge. Then Links of Gettysburg a Third place if you decide to go up central PA. It is a very hard course though, especially the back nine. Both Whisley and Links have dramatic and very scenic 18th holes. Great holes to decide a match.
