I am already bored of the PB PA. Looking forward to the return of Bubba, hopefully he can defend his title. Always an exciting player to watch. Another great field this week. Absent is world number 1 Justin Rose, but we will get to see the Open Champ, Francesco Molinari for the first time at this event. A few other players will be there as well.

I’m rooting for Cameron Champ this week. I’m hoping to see him hang with the big dogs. It will be fun to watch him and DJ in the same group to see the long ball

DJ has played well at Pacific Palisades and I wouldn’t count him out, especially with a pretty strong win at the Saudi International last week.

Bubba and DJ are great picks but I'm going with JT this week. His irons have been on point and the greens at Rivera are some of the toughest to hit on tour.... Rooting again for Stallings! Great finish last week and solid showing here last year. Praying the Air Density is variable so DeChambeau's yardage calcuations are off...

You can bet he'll be checking the barometer before play.....and then complain that it wasn't calibrated correctly. I'm rooting for anyone but Dechambeau or Rahm

Yeah that would be some group to watch.

Mr. I throw my clubs and smash the heck out of them and Mr. I’m Smarter than all of you so I am not even going to try and make you understand.

No thanks. I don’t mind Rahm but BAD is on my list of not to watch. Great golfer, great dude I’m sure. If I wanted a science lesson I’d watch Weird Science or Bill Nye the science guy.

Yeah I'm not a big Rahm fan. He seems like Sergio on roids and that includes driving distance and roid rage... He's insanely talented but I don't like the childish antics.

Bryson is on fire but in this field I'm not sure I see him coming out on top... even if the Air Density is constant...

Tiger has only played there 12 times and has never won.  If he were to win, it would be the start of a really great season for him, but I'm going with another SoCal player... Xander Schauffele.

Not a course that Tiger does well at. Gotta believe DJ, Bubba, and Adam Scott will be in the mix.  I will pull for Scott since he played well at Torrey.

This is one of my favourite tournaments every year. I love the course at Riviera and although I will never get to, I would LOVE to play there someday. Just an awesome layout with so many unique and challenging holes. The 10th is maybe the best short par 4 I've ever seen.

I'd love to see Tony Finau pull this one out, he's such a great driver of the golf ball, but I don't know if he can putt well enough. Seeing Bubba defend would be awesome but I'd also be okay with Spieth pulling this one out and starting himself on a good track for this year.

Last year for the Genesis Open.

Starting next year, the PGA Tour gives a nod to Tiger as a modern day golf icon by elevating the status of the Genesis Open to an invitational, ala the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial; raising the purse by $1.9M to $9.3M.

Sounds great... unless you are one of the 24 players in the field this week that can't play next year because an invitational reduces the field size to 120.  Oh well, the rich get richer!

They're playing. I'm watching it now guess they had a 7 hour delay. The morning wave is out, but the afternoon group will play tomorrow.

Just watched and heard the exchange between Bubba and Teddy. He blew a fairly easy shot. Lots of talking, swing his club in disgust... but he was trying to beat the rain, so his hook didn’t hook. Last thing I heard was “man, right club though”. Solidified that Bubba is human like us all. I just think he his hard on himself, and probably misread a lot.

So he didn't trash his club in the bunker and run a round the greens damaging them????

Right. He still made Bird too. Just misunderstood, a little theatrical at times... but probably my favorite to watch.

The lines he takes... the amount of curve on the ball. I can see why he gets so animated when things done go sideways like he plans.

On my list of people I’d like to meet.

I know a lot of people don't like him, but I always think he's pretty interesting. Very charitable, especially after all those storms in West Virginia a couple years ago.

Watching him swing the club is fun, the amount of curve he gets (and is accurate) is awesome. He adds some fun to the broadcast, not something you can say about every player.

Definitely adds some excitement. There are some great golfers out there on tour, but it’s strictly business. Sure they are looking at making a big paycheck, I don’t blame them, but Bubba, Phil and co make for an eventful watch on TV.

I’m sure in person would make any event better regardless of who you follow.
