What can I say, like what I like...

Driver: 2007 TaylorMade Burner TP  9.5° UST Mamiya ProForce 65 44.5”

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  It's the guy who is playing older equipment with the super silky swing that I am always wary of betting with.  When you find a comfort with a set of clubs there is not really any reason to upgrade them every time something new comes out.

 

Nice job.

P.S.  Would have been nice to see your driver and fairway metals without headcovers, but no big deal.

Love it, some great gear there!

Even though I just gave away tons of clubs to the First Tee program, I can still put a retro bag together from what I have left:

Driver: TM r7 Limited TP w/Whiteboard
4 Wood: Callaway Optiforce w/'ahina
Hybrids: original Cleveland Mashie, 3H, 4H w/PX 6.0 steel
Irons: Armour 845 evo V-31 R.O. Blades 5-GW w/TFR 6.0
SW: 56° Cleveland CG14
LW: 60° Cleveland CG14
Putter: DogLegRight HOG, 34"

I'll still break out some of the old gear from time to time. Still works but I have to admit, the newer tech works best for me.

A local guy around here was selling a set of those bridge stones on Craigslist for like $200 or something, and they were brand new. I was very torn to not buy them..

Like the whole set up--- Everyone on here that know me knows I am a big fan of older equipment> Hey why change when it works right? The Old My Day the plumbers neck of the Zing which I have 2 of. The Zing 2 I have owned some 25 years now. Reminds me I do need to update my signature somewhat.

Thanks man.  If there’s anything I would change it would be my driver.  Love all of my equipment, but wouldn’t mind something a little more “adjustable” so I could dial it in.  To date I have reshafted a couple of times.  It’s good for the time being.

Something I missed the first time around. Chalk it up to a senior moment. That shaft in your driver is one heck of a shaft. I used that shaft for years in all my drivers and fairways. I finally got too old to swing them anymore. My favorite graphite shaft of all time.
