I May Have A Bag Problem

My penchant for club purchases gets a lot of attention.  But I have silently slipped into a bag abyss

I have 3 bags right now.  Sun Mountain Three5 from 2015 that I store my excess putters and clubs in.  Sun Mountain 3.5LS from MGS testing in 2016 that I use as my range bag and keep my clubs in most of the time .  Sun Mountain Sync Cart bag from last year to use with my ClicGear or when I am riding.

I kind of want a Sun Mountain 2.5 or a smaller bag as my range bag.

And kind of want a staff bag for my club storage.

But for now, I'd rather spend that money on lessons and actual golf!  But I can dream...

In your defense: where else are you supposed to put all your clubs?

 

EDIT: anyone else's OCD acting up seeing the Titleist clubs in the Taylormade bag when the Taylormade driver is in the Titleist bag? Or is that just me?

There was someone that posted a pic of all their shinny new Titleist clubs from Driver to Putter...in a PING bag. I had to laugh.

Exactly my thought on the bolded part!

As for the mismatched bag/clubs.  This was just a straightening of the corner as things were starting to fall over in the doorway and people were complaining...ha     But for a bit of explanation.

That TaylorMade bag is actually the best of the bunch, and it's the one I use for the current starting lineup.  The Titleist carry bag is the storage bag, as it was actualy inside my SM ClubGlider (not pictured) .

At least the Bridgestone bag and Srixon bags were pretty much in order.  

But stay tuned more things are in the works.

They have their own area on the putting green.  I went like two seasons where just about every other tournament that I played I won a bag of some sort as a door prize.  There were a few that I either donated back or just gave away.

I have a ping hoofer without a single ping club in it. Fantastic bag!

Between the garage and basement I can think of 8 right now without going down to look.  I"m guessing it could be one or two more and I've given a couple away in the past year.

And yes, all but one or two have clubs in them, one of those is because I haven't taken it out of the bag yet

Not me. I have Srixon/Mizuno irons, Titleist woods, TaylorMade GAPR, vokey and Cleveland wedges, an ER2, and a whole bunch of misc other stuff. 100% brand agnostic, and I blame this forum for my addiction. Actually had the ping i500 for the summer but the Srixon’s were just better. Traded them in for some blacked out AP3 that should arrive shortly. Seriously, I have a huge problem. Worst part of the equation is I only get to play once in a while at this point. As the kids would say, FML.

Yeah. Growing it needed a reorg. 

The R1 is a sentimental club.  I rarely ever play it.  But I'll never sell it.  It came from The Kingdom made by Wade Lyles as part of a trip to TMAG and the Farmers Insurace Open a few years ago.

Yeo. I have two at home in addition.  They both have clubs from at least 5 or 6 years ago.

I think the fact I got a call from one of them on Dec 27 saying they were just a bit short on qualifying for a cool year end prize and wanted to know what they could send me, may indicate you are correct.  

Most people send their car mechanics of dentists on nice vacations.  Me it's the OEM reps.  Ha

I may or may not have clubs hiding throughout the house so no one actually knows how many I have....the bags take away all the suspense.
