I "built", or, assembled, these two Snake Eyes head/shaft combos a few years ago, maybe in 2012. 

The 3w still visits my bag

I made both 1/2in. shorter than the 3w and 5h from my starter set.  

They're nothing special or magic.  I simply aligned, glued, cut, gripped.  But it was fun, and very rewarding when I rip the good shots with them.  Arrows vs. Indians... they're pretty much as good as my name brand clubs. 

I had wanted to build up the 695 forged irons, but Golfsmith stopped producing and I couldnt get a complete set by then

I have built Several Snake eyes clubs and Currently have 1 in my bag, my putter, it is 20 years old now.. You can look online for components and build some really good clubs. I think you can still find new heads from Snake eyes on ebay if I'm not mistaken.. If you are wanting more Snake eyes clubs look there otherwise just search for Golf club components..

I started off with a few old Snake Eyes clubs.  They maintain a little soft spot for me. Great to see them floating around in other's bags!

I've got 2 old snake eyez wedges I can't seem to part with. I don't play them anymore, but I enjoy having them in the office bag with a set of Precept Tour Premiums I'll keep forever.

I think the hardest part is picking out all the equipment and supplies.  I dig the GP Niion grips, and have a stack of them to go on other clubs.  I like the Aldila VX shaft on the 3w, it's a medium stiffness, almost S flex.  It was also like $19.99. Hahaha. I think each club was under $50 after everything.
