These showed up yesterday - the VT’s are a hollow-distance iron, it unlike the Ping G700, with maybe more of a players look.

There’s still snow on the ground but may head to the heated range over in Hampton to see what they can do. Swung them a few times at Demo Day but really didn’t get a feel for them.

KBS Tour V shafts installed, which is a lighter weight shaft with a stiff tip for lower spin. The shafts are 110

Grams, which might be a good option as the sweet bird of youth continues to crash and burn.

First range session with the Prowler VT irons - I could definitely see these in the bag this year.  Admittedly plenty of winter time rust, but despite their blade-ishness, the VT's are pretty easy to

I'm not sure what this entails but it sounds terrifying, at least you got to swing some new clubs while doing it. 😉

Wow Barbajo. Those look even better than the pictures we saw last spring. Glad to see you got them for an in-Hand review. They really caught my eye last year. Good luck with them!

Hit the new Black Cat irons as well -- hollow-body with a polymer fill. Those were maybe the eye-opener of the show - one of the few sticks I've hit in the last year where I stopped and went "whoa."

If I were a betting man, I'd bet a lot of my money and all of yours the general reception on their appearance will be lukewarm to hostile, but seriously great feeling and easy to hit iron. The black PVD may be problematic, but I'm anxious to see what those do out in the real world, too....

Here are a couple of pix from Demo Day of the Black Cat irons...as you can see, they're also available in a chrome finish, which will most likely be lots more durable than the black PVD...

...interesting color scheme.... I certainly agree with your take on the appearance!
too bad they used PVD instead of DBM... can already see it starting to fade.

Yeah the black finish looks like it’s not going to hold up too well.

The color scheme is interesting. I think the club shape and design looks pretty good. I think they just missed the mark with that green accent. If Ping or TM did it it would be fine. But I think that a brand that is perceived as lower tier than the big boys, whether warranted or not, should not go with colors that could cheapen the look.

If that green was red, or maybe gold, it would look a bit more high end. Still, good looking clubs.

Wow! Those VTs look fantastic. You usually see some kind of port on hollow irons that is filled with a plug or a screw of some kind. I don't see that on these. Different way of manufacturing? I always assumed they just welded a face onto the iron body and the little port was for... cleaning things up on the inside?

I agree. If they weren't so dang ugly, they'd be way better looking.

If those are reflective, you could stick them in the ground along the driveway so you know where to plow.

Interesting question for everyone - so they’re not the best looking girl at the dance, but what if you tried them and hit the ever-loving snot out of them. Would they start looking better?

I wouldn’t care if they were hot pink with polka dots. If they went straight and far, I’d swing em.

I agree with @robertson153... I play to score well, no matter what the tools look like.

These aren't THAT bad and I would gladly laugh all the way to the bank with everyone else's money in my pocket after they smirked at my bag!

The Black Cats, if they work, they work. Play them!

The VT look absolutely stunning. If they are easier to hit and get up with the hollow body, and those looks... Wow! They are such a clean look and I love the no paintfill. A real 180 compared to the Black Cat

For a bit...but then your handicap would adjust to your improved play and you wouldn't be winning that money anymore. You would just be left with those ugly clubs.

I certainly can't claim to have had the sexiest bag in the past (or ever), but these tip the scale to the too ugly side for me. If I was really smashing these things, I would take that shaft and try it in every other club head possible.

Those blades though...

Personally, I feel like the heads need some paint fill, but that may not be a popular opinion. Nice looking clubs overall, though.

Most interested in the Tour V shafts. Like my Tour 90s, but wish I could get a little lower launch.
