revkev
I’m gonna say it... that will be hard for any of the majors to beat this year. The Players is not a major and yet it has the tougher field - everyone in it can win - not true of any major - and a course that is every bit the equal to those used in the majors. In fact, year in year out Sawgrass is fairer than those used in majors - it’s totally neutral, any player type can win in f he executes, it rewards good shots and punishes bad shots or choices - Rahm’s decision on 11 was crazy - he was out of position, he needed to play right, hit it to 20 feet, 2 putt and go birdie 12. It was his only play. Just a small example of the course’s brilliance.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60 Aldila R flex - 42.25 inches SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft Ping G410 7, 9 wood Alta 65 R flex Srixon ZX5 MK II 5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex India 52,56 (60 pending) UST recoil 75's R flex Evon roll ER 5 32 inches It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

PMookie
I really wanted Furyk to win. To see the emotion as he came off 18 was great to see. Funny. This isn’t just a game, it’s their profession, and to go through very down times, especially after the Ryder Cup, and to come back and be in contention again was cool to see. MaxEntropy
It was a great ending, although I was really pulling for Furyk. 14 minutes ago, Middler said: To his credit, Rory has gotten his game back in shape again and when he’s “on” (including putting) - he’s going to very hard to beat. Agreed. DJ seems to be in a similar situation. He missed something like 50% of his putts inside 10 feet - if he makes half of those, the result might have been different. If DJ and Rory could get more consistent with their putting, just about every weekend could be a two horse race. Personally, I would love to see those two separate themselves from the pack.
