jayjay0808
I know sales for the Truvis have been excellent for Callaway. And I would guess Taylormade thought it was missing a share of the market and this is their best response... I myself have not been a fan of the Truvis balls, they make my head hurt watching them on and around the green. Again just personal experience. So this is just "meh" news for me M. StrokerAce
Not a fan of their color scheme or logo choice but I applaud the effort. Callaway can't copyright (or whatever it is) the process of adding graphics on a ball. I wear glasses and I like the Truvis. I have a few and have set them side-by-side with other balls (white/yellow/green) and the Truvis just looks a little bigger to me. https://newsroom.taylormadegolf.com/en-US/171785-applying-advanced-visual-technology-to-the-golf-ball-category-for-the-first-time-taylormade-golf-company-announces-new-tp5-pix JohnSmalls 1 Quote Driver- Cobra Aerojet LS Woods- Cobra LTD 3w 15*, 5W 19*, F9 24* Irons- XXIO X (6-A) Wedges- Callaway Jaws Raw (54/58) Putter- Bettinardi BB56 Ball- Maxfli Tour X/Wilson Triad Buggy- Clicgear 4.0 Bag- Callaway Org 14/Fairway C

Berg Ryman
Color me intrigued. I just floated a twitter question to see if the stamping is going to effect the side stamping with any 'bleed over' effect that you see with Truvis. If it doesn't bleed over, I could see me making these my new gamer over the Z Star XV as I love the benefits of Truvis from a visual standpoint, but hate how is screws with my line. Berg Ryman
So, I finally saw one of these in the wild (or a golf shop) today. First impression, the x's are not as large as they appear and they aren't very obtrusive to me. Second, the ball feels sticky, maybe not Srixon sticky, but stickier to me than the '19 V1. Third, there is no bleed over onto the side stamp, the stamping is super consistent across all the balls. Fourth, it felt to me, and I wouldn't know until I look at a 2019 TP5 next to it, the ball almost looks smaller, which is fine because it draws your focus. Odds are, I'll probably pick up a box once I run out of what I have right now, because I'm not sure they'll sell well and maybe by then the price will go down. I'm really ok with TP5 Pix.
