Face-Balanced Blade

Hi everyone,

 

I currently play a Odyssey 2Ball F7 and I am getting tired of looking at it and want something new. I prefer face-balanced putter than a typical blade which has a lot more toe-hang.

 

The Nike Method 004 is a "face-balanced blade", with a double bend shaft. It's pretty much everything I'm looking for. I've been doing a lot of reading up on the 2011 putters that are dropping. Even the Nike Method Core line but there doesn't seem to be a similar putter to the original Method 004.

 

Do you guys know of any other blades that are face balanced?

Your best bet would be to find a center shafted Anser-type model. Or, if you want something with a hosel closer to the heel, go to Ebay and do a search for "Anser 5ks." Doing a search for "long neck putter" will give you more varied results.

 

Another more expensive option - but better guaranteed to get you something that will be made to your specs - is to contact a putter manufacturer who will custom build a face balanced blade for you.

Yes Tracy is face balanced you should be able to pick one up cheaply.

Cameron Tel3 longnecks are a sort of cheap option too depending upon condition.

 

Remember that many of the custom makers (Byron, Machine, and others) can make a face balanced blade to your specs for about what you would pay for a stock Cameron or Odyssey Black
