Ronoc 272
Originally was using GolfLogix as a GPS app on my iPhone and Apple Watch but it would drain the battery quickly and chew up data. Finished up a free trial and used it for a few more months at a discounted rate. Found out at The Grint a bit after and have only used it for handicap tracking. Most of the courses nearby have GPS units in the cart so I relied on those for a while. Finally got a GPS Watch for Christmas and will be using that from here on out.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 1 Quote Driver - M2 D-Type, 9.5 degrees, (Stiff flex) (Golf Pride MCC +4 grip) 3/4W - King F6 Black 3-4 Wood (Stiff flex) (Golf Pride MCC +4 grip) 4H - Rogue (Stiff flex) (Stock grip) (Golf Pride MCC +4 grip) 4-AW - Steelhead XR Irons (Stiff flex) (Golf Pride MCC +4 grips, 7i with Winn Dri-Tac X Grip) SW - 56* X-Wedge 60* - MD4 Wedge Putter - Odyssey White Hot RX #7 Bag - ORG 14 cart bag Link to comment
mr.hicksta 3,397
I"ve been using The Grint for over 3 years and I think it's one of the best stat trackers out there. Having 3+ years worth of rounds in it really gives me a good picture of where I've improved and of course where I still need work. The developers do a good job of keeping the app up to date and are very responsive to feedback, too. 1 Quote LTDx 9º | HZRDUS Smoke Green 60 6.0 SIM Ti 3W 15º | HZRDUS Smoke Green 70 6.0 G425 3H 19º | HZRDUS Smoke Black Hybrid 80 6.0 Z785 4-PW | Project X LS 6.0 RTX ZipCore Tour Rack 50º Mid, 54º Mid and Full-Face 60º Mid | Project X LS 6.0 ER5 | BGT Stability Tour Link to comment

GolfSpy_THV 1,330
Just downloaded the Grint on Android and truly love the app! Tried a few others before this, but the courses were spotty and since I play crappy courses in my area the Grint was able to deliver! So far, i've noticed that my GPS is about +/- 5yds from a buddies scope, but still close enough for my high handicap. 3 rounds in and looking good so far. 4 Quote In my Hoofer: G410 LST 10.5* - Evenflow Black 65 6.0 VRS Covert 3W 15* - Kuro Kage 65 S-flex TESTING: T200 4-GW, DG X100 Tour Issue D7 4-GW, KBS 105 Glide 2.0 Stealth 54.12 SS & 58.10 SS Zing 2 LW - 60* Anser 2 Link to comment
J.B. TexasEx 307
I've been using the free version of The Grint for two years and really like it. I don't use the GPS on-course because I don't have an unlimited data cell phone plan. I enter my scores when I get home on my PC. I just downloaded Google Rewards and would like to use credit earned there to upgrade to Pro for advanced statistics. 1 Quote My C-130 cart bag currently includes; Driver: z565 10.5*, Miyazaki Kaula Mizu 6 S-Flex Fairways: X-Hot 15* & 18*, Project X PXv R-Flex Irons: Apex Plus, 4-PW, Apex S4-Flex Wedges: CG10; 50*, 54*, 58*, Dynamic Gold W-flex Putter: White Hot Pro Blade #2 Grips: Golf Pride MCC-Plus 4 & Lamkin UTx Ball: Kirkland Signature 3-Piece Link to comment

MGoBlue100 2,605
I’ve used Grint for a couple years; started on a buddies trip so we could use the leaderboard feature. That rocks!! ballplayer002003 1,433
I too have been using the Grint for a few years. We started using it on a golf trip with guys coming in from all over, some members at their local courses others just social golfers so. I don't use the GPS because I shoot a lot of things with the range finder but I do use it to track my stats such as driving accuracy and GIR. I also keep an official handicap at my home course. 2 Quote Driver: Epic Flash Sub Zero Hzdrs Smoke x flex 70g 3 Wood: 917 w/ Diamana Whiteboard stiff 5 Wood : Epic Flash 18* Hzdrs Smoke stiff 4 Hybrid: Apex w/Kuro Kage stiff Irons: 5-7 Apex forged 19 w/ Modus 120 X 9-A Apex Pro 19 w/ Modus 120 X Wedges: MD5 52&56 Jaws Dynamic Gold wedge flex Putter: Scotty Cameron Del Mar 34" Link to comment

As I understand it, the Grint now offers official handicaps, and links its members to the GHIN system. You'll get a GHIN number through the Grint. If you already have a GHIN number, make sure to give it to the Grint so you don't have two different handicap accounts. Also, be sure not to post your scores twice, once through the Grint and once through GHIN directly. 2 Quote Irons Titleist AP2 714, KBS Tour S, 3 flat Rogue SubZero, GD YS-Six X 52, 56, and 60 wedges B60 G5i putter Right handed Reston, Virginia Link to comment

Yes, this is important to remember. TheGrint uploads all scores entered automatically every night. If you DO NOT want it to be uploaded then you can select "practice round" in the round setup before beginning the round. Then that score will still be included in your TheGrint stats BUT will not be uploaded to GHIN. So if you are playing in a competition such as a local club tournament where the club is going to enter the rounds into GHIN for you. Make sure you setup practice round if you are going to also use TheGrint to record your round - to prevent the double entry in GHIN. edit: spell check/formating Edited May 4, 2020 by Larryw 2 Quote Link to comment
Eric D. 19
I've been using Grint for two years as a "handicap member". That means I just paid for the new WHS handicap. I also tried Diablo and like Grint better - mainly for aesthetics. I typically used Golfshot during my round for GPS and to track stats. 1 Quote G410, 9°, Tensei Orange 70-S Tight Lies, 16°, Bassara 55-S Idea Tech Boxer a40S 4 hybrid, Tour AD 65-R X-20 Tour 4I-PW, Project X 5.5 MP-T4 50°, True Temper 588 56°, stock SV 60°, stock Newport 2 Notchback, Flat Cat grip Pro balls Link to comment
Tykoonce 17
I tried it out last year but I found myself going away from it because I was trying to use my phone less to focus on what I was doing. why was using it I thought it was okay I had used golf pad before and I like that a little bit better the only downside with golf pad is that it didn't have the handicap feature. Bustaferrari 18
I used to use it until they started charging, I dont really care much about my handicap since I dont play any tournaments. But decent app works well most of the time. Quote Link to comment

Getoffmylawn 5,257
Happy user for two years now. My only advice is if you are looking to upgrade just do the $20 version to give yourself access to a handicap. The $40 premium or pro membership offers more features but I'm not sure they're worth the $20 upgrade. As far as I can tell the $40 version gets you the ability to upload scores via a snapshot of your scorecard rather than entering scores hole by hole, but I like entering hole-by-hole as a means to track stats (GIR, Fairways, Putts, etc.). Not really sure what else the $40 gets you over the $20. The $20 membership is enough IMO. 3 Quote Driver: TR20 460, Ventus Blue 6 S, 65g Stiff FW: CBX 119 3w, 15, Project X Evenflow Blue 65g Stiff Hybrids: Apex Pro 3 & 4H, Mitsubishi MMT 80g Stiff Iron: JPX 919 Forged 5-GW, Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff Wedges: SM8 54 S Grind bent to 55, 60 M Grind bent to 59, Aerotech Steelfiber i110 Stiff Putter: White Hot OG Double Wide, Stroke Lab shaft Ball: Pro V1X Click here for my HONMA TR20 Official Review!
