perseveringgolfer
My AV runs out today- costs a fortune to renew so I'm looking at any recommendations for any free ones out there that do a good job until I can research a cheaper one. I had mcafee and eset before but they strangled performance and maybe a less 'heavy' free one might work for awhile. a quick google brings up loads so personal recommendation would be appreciated, thanks. cnosil
I have used Avast for years and haven't had any issues. Have it on all my home computers and it seems to do a good job. Golfspy_CG2
Mainly due to a reluctance to change and sticking with what works, we continue to pay for Norton 360. Just renewed for two years at $104. I know everyone says the free ones are just as good, and I have some IT friends who use them, so they should be good. But something about sticking with what's proven. Even if it costs. I know what you mean, ESET has been ok for the last 2 yrs but the renewal is quite expensive and reviews say it does bloat your pc a bit, so just wanting to try something a bit lighter and less expensive. Might try Nortons 360 trial and see how it goes.
