Matte Red

Matte Red golf balls just pop so well to my eye. I can see them so much easier than any other color. Right now my fav is the Superhot Bold.  What is your favorite Matte Red golf ball?  I'm excited to also check the Supersoft in Matte Red.

The only matte ball I've played was a Volvik I bought from a bucket next to the checkout line. I liked the appearance, but wasn't particularly fond of that ball. I am definitely planning on trying more colors this year and I like the matte finishes.

The Cut Matte yellow is also a ball I really like. I just prefer the red color but I still play these yellows at times.

I tried the matte red Bridgestone e12 and lost 3/4 of them in one round. Now to be fair I couldn’t hit my driver straight to save my life AND there was a wind advisory. But it was very hard for me to follow the ball in cloudy conditions.

I just bought a box of Noodles in the neon red.  Overall I was pretty pleased with them.  On a couple of shots, I lost the ball flight in air, but that probably had more to do with the weather.  Locating my ball on the ground, the color helped tremendously.  I don't know if I will stick with the red golf balls, but for now I am liking them.

I've always liked the look and feel of the Volvik balls, matte red and yellow preferably. I'll tend to play the red or orange this time of year when everything is brown as it helps the ball stand out. I've played the Superhots but didnt like the feel of them.

Yup. Lots of older people at the club can't follow the Bridgestone e12 red matte through the air. So began to switch to yellow for their sake.

I'm also in love with the superhot bold red. 

Have you noticed that the superhot bolds cover feels really tacky, like rubber compared to normal white Superhot.

 

I normally play urethane balls but lately been fighting a snap hook so decided to buy something cheaper until I straighten out the hook. I bought the superhot Bolds at Walmart and I'm falling in love with them. I think after I use up my 16 dozen proVs, Chromesofts, Bridgestones, snells and tp5s, Superhot bolds might be my go to

I enjoy a matte ball, I just haven't found one with the performance I want.
