Read the "How Club Center of Gravity Makes a Huge Difference" article, follow up question

I figure since that article is old rather than commenting on it I would drop a line here.

Simple-ish question.  Towards the end of the article they have this chart which shows how performance changes as you move up, down, forward, or back of existing CG:

What I was curious about is, if we go down and back 1mm, is the spin change negated while launch is raised, or is it not a linear relationship?  So does going down 1mm have a greater/lesser impact on spin than going back 1mm.
