Identifying Shafts

Recommended Posts

Wasn't having any luck in the shaft section so I'll try here.

I recently picked up a set of Nike Vapor Pro Combos at a local course.  The previous owner took of the shaft labels so I have no clue what they are.  The guy that runs the shop said he thinks they are stiff flex and stock from Nike.  After researching it, that means they are DG Pro.  I want to figure it out in case I sell them or get new bands.

I thought I saw that TT prints on the butt end a code that told you the specs.  I don't see it on this club (4 iron), do they print it on a certain club?

Measuring the steps on the 4 iron I came up with the following (started at the 1st step at the taper and and ended at the butt end):

1"

2.125"

3.375"

4.625"

6.25"

7.75"

9.5"

11.75"

13.5"

15.625"

17 7/8"

Butt end to 1st step:

13.5"
