GB13
I just have to ask, is it bugging anyone else that they are scoring matches as "tied" when the proper term is "All Square"? In other news, I'm schedueling a test for OCD tomorrow. I'm with you. But the announcers said something this morning that the change in terminology is actually reflecting a change in the rules (more rules stuff!). Opening the USGA rules for 2019, the only reference to "all square" that I could find was this: (3) Knowing Match Score. The players are expected to know the match score – that is, whether one of them leads by a certain number of holes (“holes up” in the match) or the match is tied (also known as “all square”). So it looks like "tied" is now the preferred term. Ugh. Shankster
It’s All Square.... end of discussion. Of course we can’t get it right here. Have to make something up to talk about. Go watch yourself a 80’s Match Play event, or any event for that matter. The commentators were amazing, and the golf was even better. More creativity from both sides. And for that reason I really miss Johnny Miller. His 63 at Oakmont was truly a feat. I hope no one ever beats it with the Thors Hammers and mallet putters, and MOI.Ok, sorry for the mini rant.... FrogginBullfish
Finish to Bubba vs Na was a fun one. Bubba in bunker in front of green, Na lays back. Bubba flubs the bunker shot back into his footprint. Chunks the next one, picks up and concedes the match to Na who was on the green in 2.Nice W for the big cat. Rors steamrolled List. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile appI think when Rahm gets that concentration down... he will win, and win a ton of events. One of my favorite swings on tour. Long but compact, and full of power... with a little tail off fade. Give him 2 more years and he will be there a lot on late Sunday afternoons more often.
