arm lock putters are a thing; at least that lead/stiff left arm thing - Bubba and Bryson both rolling the rock on perfect lines

poor Jason Day; he needs to go to Tiger's back surgeon ASAP and get better....he's only making things worse the longer he prolongs it

Justin Rose and Jordan Spieth both shot the same score (+3) but somehow, Spieth is getting the criticism....the Rose better bloom quick or else it could be a short spring

Corey Conners - I dare you to name another person who has had a better week-and-a-half than this kid who had to Monday qualify, won his first tournament and is tied with Tiger after the first round of the Masters.... win or lose he's living the dream (OH: and if he wins that will be the best 2 week stretch in the HISTORY OF GOLF)

Barnrat - love the fact that he's right there in the thick of it. 1800 calories my arse! Get 'em big fella.

There are 3 guarantees in life: death, taxes and C. Hoffman in the top 20 at the Masters...just write it down every year.

WEATHER is going to be a huge factor - last I saw there were thunderstorms on the way and a 90 percent chance of rain on Sunday...long and soft favors some players over others...it's not even close to being over.

I honestly don't believe this is the new Jordan. He has extreme talent, and while talent may hide for a while, it never goes away. He will be back. 

Most everyone knows I don’t care for him as a golfer, all the other stuff he does outside of golf for charity and the kids is top notch. But I feel sorry for the guy right now. A non fan looking in... he’s not there, something is way off. Looks super uncomfortable and like he has no idea where the ball is going.

I honestly hope he can turn it around, because you’re right he is super talented.

That's what I've been telling myself ever since Annie came into the picture... sigh.  His game went from the penthouse to the outhouse seemingly overnight.  I am so looking forward to him being among the top 10 - just beginning to wonder how much longer it will be.

Not a fan of Chamblee at all. How does a guy with one tour win that never sniffed contending in a major judge a guy that already has three majors? Seems Brooks is doing exactly the opposite of what Chamblee did in his playing career and has been a heck of a lot more successful.

It is like the listener survey scene in Howard sterns movie Private Parts, just replace Stern’s name with Chanblee’s:

I’ve totally warmed to Bryson BTW - I get why people don’t like him but seeing him in those commercials where he is self effacing has done it for me. That and he’s a heck of a golfer.

If the leader board stays like this I will watch on Sunday.

Welcome to the dark side on this one Shankster - Don’t let anyone know but I’ve now got blades in my bag up to PW which of course is really a strong 9 iron from the old days. Maybe we are rubbing off on each other. :)
