Soo umm - that fitting today just verified everything I thought I was seeing on the course with the G410 Plus.  Small Minus hosel setting, weight in the toe.

My fitter Loren said I'm in the less than 1% of people that come in and he can't get more out of their driver or 3 wood (and in this case hybrid, too) during a fitting. 
And this is a guy that fits Div 1 college players, pga and LPGA tour players. 
 
I hit them so well he literally said "to be honest, we'd be wasting time and energy by trying to find something that is going to perform better because it doesn't exist"

Here’s what I was fit for when I went for my long game club fitting last week. Interestingly my fitter wanted me in the 12 turned down one verses the 10.5 up a half -

That shaft has a wicked light so even though I have a the same loft on both - 11 degrees - I launch the 410 way higher. The ball flight is a hint of draw and ridiculously accurate.

I should have taken a picture of the dispersion when I was fit was this a tight little circle all at the top end of my current gamers range. It’s not as if I’m longer with it, just consistently at the top end and straight. And I’m already averaging 70 percent of fairways hit with driver on shot scope.

I may do the same thing Tuesday where I play the counting 9 with the old gamer and play this one on the back. Depends on whether or not I can practice again on Sunday.

That's one good looking driver@revkev! Also, great round, shooting a 70 is phenomenal.

Maiden voyage with the g410 was hit or miss. Definitely doesn’t sound as hot off the face as the g400...but hit some good drives. Missed a lot to the right.

Curious. I’ve googled and haven’t found a lot. What would the -1 flat or +1 flat do when adjusting it?

-1 flat lowers loft while going flatter with the lie. +1 goes up in loft while going flatter with the lie

Well guys I’ve been following this Test closely and ALL Reviews are well done, great job guys.
I and now pretty certain in a few weeks when I can swing a Driver again the first I try will be the Ping G410.
I’ve already told the fitter to have a LH G410 Driver warmed up and ready!

It's been a rainy day here in Georgia so I had plenty of time to check out your reviews.  First of all no doubt you all did your homework and came to class with all sorts of interesting findings with the Ping G410 woods. Each one of you shared your results with an individual and no holds barred style.   Loved it!   I still have my Ping G400 Max in the wings while I''m bagging my main squeeze (Cally XR16). Although two of the big driver reviews I was interested in were enlightening, I'll stay the course. Thanks guys for your dedication to quality and all of us at MGS are extremely proud of your efforts!

Question for the testers - I see some mention of changing lofts in your reviews can you guy guys comment on extremes in adjustments?

I may just go back to where I bought the thing, lay out a few bucks and dial it in.

If you have the means and the time, that would be the way to go for sure. The adjustments are pretty basic and intuitive. In a couple of my initial range sessions I basically went through this progression each time; Started with neutral (10.5*) and hit 5-6 shots. Changed to -1* hit 5, then to -1.5* and hit 5. Then back to neutral for a couple of shots and then tried +1* and +1.5* similarly. When I first changed to -1* it felt very good and I hit those shots the best, so I simply dialed into that and it seems to be the one for me. I tried the -1* & +1* with the lie-angle setting with mixed results, so I have simply left it with the standard lie-angle and effectively at 9.5* loft. Of course all this was done out on a driving range with no type of LM at the time-all feel and real-world visual results albeit with range rocks...

FYI, you can really tell just by how much of the face is showing at address how much those little adjustments make to the look of the club when looking down at it as it lies flat on the ground.

My Ping fitter did me a solid by even touching driver and irons. But he didn’t spend lots of time on driver beyond you need this lighter shaft and higher loft.

So this afternoon I went to the range after an unimaginable day (funeral and last rites for 2 people). Warmed up, was hitting it well, moved into driver.

At 12 degrees I was hitting it in the low 230’s according to voice caddy SS 94-96.

That’s solid enough for me with range balls as I’m 5-10 mph faster on the course with my gamer than on the range.

So I jacked it down a degree. Now I play my 400 LST as a 10 up one so this means both were at 11.

But I was hitting the G410 with the new shaft down 1 235-240 plus - I had one carry over 230 and roll out right around a flag that I measure at 265

And our rainy season has started

Sheesh.....you’re killin’ it.
I changed the setting on my G to 11 and has made a 20 yd difference. Had it previously 9.5 and that’s bad for my “moderate” swing speed.

Great update Rev. I'm glad you were able to slip away after what sounds like a terrible day and maybe relax a bit. I'd say you have that thing pretty well dialed in and maybe seeing similar results with distance improvements over the G400 series like I did-nice to have some validation..!

I'm hoping to get to the range myself this week and continue to work on grooving my swing. It fell out of the groove Sunday and I need to try to generate some muscle-memory especially on my transition.

Keep bombing them out there! 230 carry with 265 roll is awesome!

Got out for 9 holes today and had my second go round with the g410. Today went much better than the first round. Took the HZRDUS Yellow from my g400 and swapped tips and plugged it in to the g410. Night and day difference. Still love the feel of the HZRDUS Yellow. Had one of my best driving days ever en route to a 40 on 9 holes Darn 3 putt on the last hole hurt me. 

Still getting used to the sound compared to the G400, but love the results I saw today.

I find the 400 much more subdued. The 410 let’s you know it’s around. It bothered me the first swing - until my fitter told me what my numbers were - I got used to it quickly after that. :)

Sort of haha. Loved my g400 and found the 410 for a good price. Already had it prior to the fitting. Talked with the fitter and he recommenced any of the shafts I already had (tour 75s, HZRDUS Yellow 76 or Evenflow Black 76. Tour 75 won out for my fairway and hybrid but HZRDUS Yellow won out in my driver.
