Take a look at the TM 760 irons.  You could always combo them with the 790 longer irons, but watch the loft gap where it changes.  Might have to strengthen or weaken one or the other.

Driver: :callaway-small: Rogue ST Max (10.5* set at -1 and neutral) -- Mitsubishi Tensai Blue 55g R shaft

Fairway: :callaway-small: Rogue ST Max 3 wood (16.5*) and Heaven Wood (20*)-- Tensai Blue 55g R shaft

Hybrids: :callaway-small: Rogue ST Max 5H (23*)--Tensai Blue 55g R shaft

Irons:  :callaway-small: Apex CF19 6-9, PW, AW -- KBS Tour Graphite  TGI 70 shafts R +1/2 inch 3* upright

Wedges: Edison 53* and  57* KBS PGI 80 Graphite +1/2 inch 2* upright

Putter: L.A.B. DF 2.1 -- BGT Stability shaft

Ball:  Maxfli TourX...Golf Bag: :ping-small: Pioneer...Shoes: :footjoy-small: Hyperflex... Glove: Red Rooster Feather

If you’re not married to TM I’d take a look at some Mizuno JPX Tours.

If you’re willing to go that far back then I’d go straight to the MP64.

There’s a consensus that they’re top 3 best feeling and most playable Mizuno ever made.

Mizuno MP-25 are the irons I should still be playing! Unreal! Absolutely FANTASTIC irons! Feel, distance for a cavity back, forgiving for a players club, and they’re Mizuno! GREAT IRONS!!!

Okay I’m surprised this hasn’t come up yet. Two that come quickly to mind are Sub 70’s - there’s an entire thread on them here and Hogan’s, there’s lots of threads about those.

Both are factory direct with demo programs.

Yes Mizuno is great but you said cheap - you wouldn’t be looking at much of an upgrade to buy Mizuno cheap nor could you combo it.

Hey guys so i play TM forges CB from 2012 irons and looking into a new set. Kinda looking for cheap ones. Thinking of a combo set as well since I love Blades but also love cb too. Any suggestion?  Thank you.  

 

There is a set of Mizuno MP 5s on EBay right now. Condition looks well above average. Current price $280.
