Testers Announced Tour Edge EXS Driver

Recommended Posts

Tim - Boston, MA

TMag M1 2017 9.5* set to 8.75*, Project X Hzrdus Yellow 6.5, playing length: 45", two 11 gram weights on each side of the front track, 12 gram weight at the back of the front-to-back track so it plays about D4.5, Lamkin UTx Standard +2 wraps.

Handicap: 3.8, Swing Speed: 111, I use the LM at the practice bays st PGATSS

I've never had a Tour Edge driver but I did use a CB Pro Limited Edition 13.5* 3 wood for a couple years and loved it. I'm fascinated to try this new driver against some of the premium drivers b/c it'd be great to buck the trend of inflation that's gotten out of hand in the driver market!

Michael Florida/Michigan (after May)

Callaway Great Big Bertha 10.5* Aldila Synergy Blue 50 R w/ midsize grip

11.2 index 85 mph and don’t regularly use a launch monitor

Played a Tour Edge Exotics EX9 last summer. Was very pleased with the feel and balance. I did experince a slight loss of distance but was able to work on control which I achieved. I think some loss in distance was a shaft issue.  When I returned to Florida I switched back to my current driver (see above).

Driver:    Callaway GBB 10.5*

Fairway:  Callaway Epic 3 & 5
Hybrid:   Callaway Big Bertha OS 4 hybrid

Wedges: Callaway Rogue X PW, AW, GS; MD4 SW
Putter:    Odyssey White Hot RX 2-ball V-line
Ball:       Srixon Z-Star

Although I've never used a TE driver, I have bagged a TE 3 fairway, #3, #4, & #5 TE hybrids in the last year with great success. I'm sold on the TE product line.
