How good can a $299 Driver be?  How much technology can a company offer for that price?    TourEdge's EXS driver was recently named My Golf Spy's Most Wanted Driver in Value.   A $299 price for a driv

EXTRA!   EXTRA!   EXTRA! Some golfers have an edge on others... ...but few have a TOUR edge. Join me in congratulating these 3 fine spies for being selected to test the MyGolfSpy most w

I don't use any kind of launch monitor data is collected through feel and visual comparison.

I have hit multiple Tour Edge drivers but have never gamed one.  My experience with Tour Edge has been very positive, my first custom fit irons were Tour Edge Comp 950 Tour and I currently play an Exotics XCG7 5 Wood and CB Pro S Wedge

Your handicap and  driver swing speed, and do your regularly use any sort of LM for data collection.

HCP around 3 (needs to be updated). 118-120+. Before this season I had only used LM when being fit for a club. However, this year my local cc has installed an awesome LM/golf simulator that claims to be very accurate.

Have you played a Tour Edge driver before, and what was your experience.

I have not used a Tour Edge driver before. I have used, and currently use a Tour Edge 4 wood with an extra stiff speeder shaft. Personally I usually shy away from these clubs because they’re perceived as a notch below the big brands. I’m getting to the point in my golf game that I don’t really care what the club says on it as long as it provides consistent results.

We'll pick our testers sometime next week, so check back and good luck.

Ping G400, 9°, Fujikura Pro 2.0 6S.

HCP 11. 103 Driver swing speed. I do not use a LM but I know my specs for the G400 and can analyze based off of that club's ball flight, distance, etc.

I haven't played a Tour Edge. However, this club has been high on my list as this years Driver prices have officially priced me out of purchasing new from the bigger named companies from now on.  The price point, tech, reputation of Tour Edge and looks of this club more than hold their own against those bigger companies and I'd love to test it out and share my thoughts.

Mark...South Caroliina

Driver: Tommy Armour TA1, 9*, Kuro Kage 50 Stiff

Index: 2.6

Swing speed: 105

LM: Frequently use them at golf stores to check launch specs and spin

Tour Edge: Own exotics irons, fairways, putters, and one older driver model. Have found them to be consistently solid performers and don't believe they sacrifice anything as compared to the "name brands" that cost twice as much. In fact my all time low score of 66 was with a set of Bazooka hybrid irons of all things!

I am a fanatic with a golf workshop and constantly test all kinds of clubs.

Taylormade M2  10.5*  (senior flex)

Irons Cleveland CBX

Wedges:  Ping Glide 2.0  (50*/56*)

I have never seen you give someone who plays a senior flex shaft, a chance to be a tester.  If this driver adds yardage, it would make sense to let a senior golfer be a tester, and see if it can return the length, that they once had. Would like to test the Exotics driver 10.*, with a senior flex shaft.

First Name/State of Residence:  Drew, Indiana

Current Drive specs  Model/loft/shaft/Flex:  Callaway Big Bertha 454 titanium/8 degree/stock stiff shaft

Your handicap and  driver swing speed, and do your regularly use any sort of LM for data collection:  9 handicap, driver swing speed 105-115. I use launch monitor every few weeks to track progress and work on things but nothing at home. Most is by results and feel on course.

Have you played a Tour Edge driver before, and what was your experience:  have never played Tour Edge before! I’ve tried so many different drivers but nothing has been able to replace my trusty old Big Bertha yet!

I am John Wagner and live in Virginia.  I build golf clubs from components as a hobby for friends and family and I would love to be a tester for a Tour Edge EXS driver.

My current drivers are:  1) Acer XS Draw 10.5* Aldila NVS 65-R, 2) Power Bilt Citation Tour 10.5* Aldila NVS 65-R, 3) Snake Eyes Viper Ti 464 10.5* Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 6.1 Flex-R

My HCI is 34.2 which I know is not to good, but I had some back problems recently.  The problem has been resolved and I am back to playing 3 to 5 times per week, so I expect that my HCI should be coming down.   My current Driver Speed is 90 mph.  I own and use a Swing Caddie SC 200 Launch Monitor.  I have never played a tour edge product before.

Ping G400 10.5 Stiff - Alta CB 55

handicap = 12.8   driver swing speed= 95 mph, NO LM for data collection

Have you played a Tour Edge driver before? Yes, CB4 10 degree.  I loved the CB4 driver several years ago.  No adjustments, smallish head but very very consistent.  It was a fairway finder.
