Bridgestone's Ball Testing Robot in Action

Recommended Posts

Here's a video that was shot at Bridgestone's Ball Factory in GA today after Tigers win at the Masters.   A kinda neat look inside.

Super cool to see. I still have a hard time to believe that the off the shelf ball is what Tiger plays. I think it has to do more with the fact that he hasn't played an off the shelf ball his entire career pretty much.

I find it hard to believe as well.  But I've had two people there that should know, tell me it is the case.   But I guess they wouldn't be the first OEM to tell a little white lie 🤔

I'm curious if they are "twisting" the truth a little bit. They market it like Tiger could go in to any Golf Galaxy, pick up a box of Bridgestone balls, and he'd use those. I'd bet they might be the same "formula" but they have to go through much more rigid testing than consumer product to ensure perfection and consistency.
