If I were to have to pick I would have to say I have many favorites, Mizuno and Bridgestone were my first favs. The reasons would be because they were my first forged irons! First Mizuno MP-29's and then I bought the Bridgestone J33b's and loved both sets and played them both as I like the different feel between the two sets. Then I'd have to say my Taylormade Lehman 300's box toe cb's and then my Rac mb "T" stamp blades that were both forged by Miura. Miura seem to have the big Cult like following as the KING of the softest forgings ever, but I feel Mizuno's Chuo's foundry is the softest feeling although its subjective as we all have different hearing which relates to feel! I love the solid feel of Endo's forgings the best, and I guess it must be the sound it makes at impact. Everyone has there own personal favorites, and mine change from year to year. Right now I have a set of Callaway X-Prototype blades forged by Endo of Japan and they feel just so sweet! So I've always been curious of trying some of the other OEM's like Fourteen,Srixon,Epon among others. :D

The JDM Srixon models and Tourstage JDM models. Not as expensive as the "niche/boutique/I want to be different" JDM brands and still terrific quality control and R&D.

However since most regular JDM buyers have that want to be unique sense. The more limited the brand the better.

Of course my main bag happens to be a mixed set of Fourteen, Epon and Tourstage.

TourStage, which of course is Bridgestone. Top forgings with the softest feel of all. Mizuno are always solid. Miura are beautifully finished but overpriced.

Cobra S2 9.5 with Aldila Voodoo reg.

Sonartec SS 3.5 14* with Fuji tour platform.

TM V-Steel 18* 5 wood with stock reax stiff shaft.

Sonartec HB-001 21* hybrid with graphite design stiff.

4-pw KZG Evolution irons with Rifle 5.0 Flighted.

TM rac gap wedge 52/8 with DG wedge flex.

Mizuno MPT 10 56* sw with DG wedge flex.

Knockoff 2 ball putter.

ProV1 or Bridgestone 330RX.
