2019 Champions Tour

I like watching this tour as much as the main tour.  It's fun seeing many of the players that were in their prime when I was much younger still competing and playing very well.  I wonder if Jim Furyk and/or Phil will give this tour a go? 

Nice win for Scott McCarron at the Mitsubishi Classic - he's continuing his great play from 2018.  Next up is the Bass Pro Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge.  Several of teams only play two of the three days... much as we like it not to be the case, age affects everyone's game along the way.

McCarron picks another win up at The Insperity this past weekend and now leads in the Charles Schwab Cup.  Up next is their first major of the season Regions Tradition.  I'd be hard pressed not to stay with McCarron as he's playing really solid.

The major events switch to a traditional 4 round format; which is a significant shift for many of these guys.  A really nice leader group with Stricker currently leading, but Toms, Andrade, and you'll never guess who nipping at his heels.  Bernhard the machine ceases to amaze me.

My McCarron pick is going down in flames.  He must have used up too much mojo in the last few weeks.  I'd love to see Stricker win his first "major" event, what a great guy and ambassador to the game.

Well dang.  Round 4 suspended for weather.  I was really looking forward to watching that today.  Oh well, I'm retired, Monday works.
