Here is how Arccos calculates handicap.

Everything is based off of Strokes Gained rather than the USGA method of handicap calculations. It explains why @Nunfa0 is an 11.9 handicap, but a 7.7 in Arccos.

Also, all of our current Arccos handicaps have been calculated by the rounds we have played with the system, where our actual handicaps have been calculated by all the rounds registered with our governing bodies. As the system gathers more and more data, the handicaps start averaging to more normal ranges.

Mods, go ahead and close this thread, because this competition is OVER!! I couldn’t contain myself and headed straight to the range. Don’t remember who was asking but this bad boy can hit bombs off the tee. Last pics for now is of one of the wedges.

This may qualify as the post that proves you’re certifiably insane. How one range session with a shiny new club equals you having a chance of winning is beyond me.

I’m happy to hear you are enjoying the new toys. Just don’t let all that driving range success go to your head. You still have to go out and game them on the course. Aka, dig your ball out of the woods.

It’s called the Pre-Chatter thread for a reason. This is all about talking up our games before the real competition. It’s delusional on purpose. So yea, I’m leaning all in to the delusion.
