Greetings from Dallas, TX!  I currently game the G410 driver (12* head set at 11* and flat) and the G410 SFT 5 wood (set at 17.5* plus the shaft is 0.5" longer) both with the Alta 55 shaft.  My hybrids are the Cleveland HB Launchers (22* & 25*) but right now I only carry the 22*.  My irons are Srixon Z565 and I have the 5 iron set at 22* with 4* gaps (6-9 plus 3 wedges) and Cleveland CB wedges (54* & 58*).  Considering switching the Cleveland hybrid(s) for the G410 hybrid and plan to go to the PGA SS near my office to work on gapping.  I'd be willing to share the results with you as part of thsi thread.  Play more golf!

This is one of the best testing opportunities I have seen.  Having testers fitted by a qualified rep is outstanding.  I have been fit for irons, putters, drivers, but never the top end of the bag and I really need to spend some time there!  I golf 4-5x per week and would be happy to share my experiences with the fitting and testing!

Pick me!  Pick me!

  • Tony
  • Eau Claire, WI
  • Driver SS - 96
  • Handicap - 5
  • i200 irons up to 6i only
  • 26*, 22*, and 19* Ping G400 Hybrids
  • 16* Ping G SFT fairway wood adjusted to 15*

Thanks for the opportunity!

WOW! This is a great opportunity and I would love to be a part of it.

Here's the info you asked for:

 Andy
Glendale, CA
Driver swing speed is 95mph / 17 Handicap
I have an Orlimar 3W (15*) and an Orlimar 4H (22*) the clubs are circa 2011

I am right handed

**********************************************

Adding a little to this: I have been hitting golf balls for a long time, but this year I decided to really learn how to play. I have been at the practice range twice a week all year. I have taken lessons to learn how to swing properly. The lessons and practice have allowed me to eliminate a fairway covering slice and I now tend to hit a ball that moves left. If you look at my instagram feed (@chasing_bogeys) you'll see some videos of my swing. I have already played 20 rounds of golf this year.

I would be absolutely committed to working with whatever setup Ping provided. I would be thrilled to provide regular/consistent/detailed feedback on these clubs and how both the clubs and the setup are helping my game get better. As a high handicapper trying to improve and looking for any edge I can find I think I would speak to a huge swath of the golf community.

Here's a photo of what I'm playing with currently.

Thanks for considering me for this trial.
