I can’t help but think of a Fist Full of Dollars, The Outlaw Jose Wales, High Plans Drifter, and The Good Bad and the Ugly when I think of this tournament. Too bad it’s on the wrong side of the Mississippi to be a western.

 

We gon have a shoot out in Quail Hollow.

Well tee balls will be in the air tomorrow morning.

Is it the Tiger effect or does no one really care about this tournament?

It was a good PGA Championship stop.

I see this is the lowest strength of field in a very long time for the tournament. The rearranged schedule seems to have ripple effect to the not so interesting tour stops. No wonder they can’t keep sponsors.

Yeah, yeah, I'm here. I like the course, but otherwise, there aren't many exciting things about this tourney. I'd pick Rose or possibly Finau.

Let's hope my fantasy team steps up this week! I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say Rory and Rickie go into a playoff, it'll be a battle for the ages, Rory sinks a 20 footer to win. Bada bing bada boom.

Frankly, after The Masters I always tune out of golf tournaments until the US Open. I've been just watching golf in the background as I do chores around the house. This weekend will probably be the same thing.

I predict a win for Rickie Fowler. No real reason or thought behind the pick.

Would love to play at Quail, looks beautiful. 

PGA Tour Live is my lifeblood for Thursday & Friday in the office, no matter what the event is. Also love how you get to see every shot/ hear players & caddy  thoughts.. whereas during normal broadcasts you don't get as much of that. Great realization that every shot is not a stripe down the middle and a lawn dart for these guys... well at least most of the times its not.

Loved seeing Duff  ball out this morning! He's got some fantastic visor flow going.

I reckon it's about time for HV3 to get his 1st PGA tour win.  I've been pulling for him each time he's in the mix... not going to happen in this event, but it will happen.

So, My daughter came home last night around 11pm, and said she has a surprise for me. She bought 2 tickets for her and I to go to Quail today. So I will headed out around 11ish and staying for the entire day. We live 10 minutes from the park and ride so it’s a short commute for us. We’ve gone several times and Love the chance to go. We will have a good time together. It will be sort of a last father-daughter outing before she graduates and moves to Michigan for the summer, and then head down to USC Beaufort for school in the fall.

We had a great time together out at Quail today. I little hot, but wasn’t too bad. Unfortunately a small storm cell came in and stopped the tournament for a bit. luckily we had been there for about 5 hours already so we got to see lot s of golf, and walk around the facilities a bit. I got to spend a good day walking the golf course with my Daughter. So in itself was the best. She will be gone from home soon, so it was nice to spend that time with her.

By the way. Those Vessel stand bags are the sweetest bags I’ve seen. Rickie and J. Duf. Both had them. Here’s a photo of both

Big win for Max out there. Love seeing all these recent Web grads taking home victories and keeping the big names on their toes (Max, Conners, Mitchell). Tough loss for Dahmen but hes gonna take home a trophy and 2 year card this year for sure.
