Shank, do you know if any fairway woods will be in the mix as well? Not a clue. They do have the VKTR hybrids right now. I commend the Ben Hogan company for what they are doing, but some of the stuff is odd.We could go a year before we see a FW or a week.I remember them asking what people wanted to see last year, and the BH ball was a hot topic, as were drivers, fairways, and hybrids.Everyone wanted a 18° FT Worth Hi and they made one.Probably only a matter of time. As far as the driver, I don’t understand that choice at all. Few companies can really pull it off from top to bottom with a complete line. Someone somewhere clearly knows what they’re doing. If they can have a low price point and compete with the big dogs like they do in the other categories, I bet they sell out quickly just like the 18° FTw Hi did after launching. I mean $700/$735 for a set of irons compared to $1200+... If the Driver is fairly priced at the $250-$350 range it will be a huge hit for them. That puts them far below most other drivers. But with the putter launch being $250 a club the driver might be slightly higher. That is just purely speculation. I have no idea how much it will be. 3 days and we’ll know. bens197

bens197
Now that it’s official on their site, a driver and a fairway for $300 & $200 respectively. Two takeaways for me...1) the shaft offerings are vast and really nice choices. 2) the fairway has an epoxied set hosel, no adjustments. I like that. Shankster
I think the best part of these is the speed slot. The set I sold a while back had 1,3,5 wood with the speed slot. From 1958 or so. They look the same as my old ones for the most part, just made of metal instead of wood, and slightly larger.

TR1PTIK
Was bummed MGS didn't have a photo of the crown in the blog post, but it can be seen on the Ben Hogan website. Based on the image provided of the top, all I can say is "Yuck!". Great looking driver until you see the top and it looks like the big bulging hunk of mass. I hope someone releases better images and that someone like Shiels will review it so I can have a better look. Surely at 445cc, this thing would have a bit more of a classic pear shape. Regardless, this is definitely an intriguing club that I'd be willing to test drive at some point.
