Is it just the camera angles or what?

It looks like BK addresses his putts towards the toe then has a loopyish putter stroke. I love it.

Just the camera angle?

Not the camera angle - it’s intentional

This is just not even worth watching at this point. Worst major of the year and it is in my backyard.

Purpose? I’m intrigued.

You already nailed the purpose - kid’s got a loop in his stroke. Most people would be surprised how a simple setup change can neutralize an otherwise problematic natural tendency - in all areas of the game.

Ah. Must be similar to why Beau Hoseler (intentional misspelling) lines up his iron shots off the hosel.

Same with ZJ lining up with the ball almost outside the toe. Just how their swing/strokes are and how they can align themselves to hit the middle most consistently.

I'm going to use this as my new excuse, instead of "my fat belly gets in the way during address but clears when I swing so my hands come further inside." Think it'll be believable?

Well this worked - I haven’t played in two weeks, I had the afternoon free to watch and now there’s nothing to see - guess I’m playing golf after church today -

What a novel idea!

If Brooks wins today, that would make three PGA  Championships in a row right?  This would set a record and if so, it would be pretty darn significant/historic!  I'm watching this puppy! 🐶

2 in a row, with 2 in a row US Opens to go along with it. He’ll have 4 majors out of the last 8.

Still historic.

If Koepka goes on to finish this thing off, how commonplace does it become for American college players to head to the Challenge Tour to begin the professional journey?

Peter Uihlein went the same route at virtually the same time as Koepka. It hasn’t exactly been as productive for Uihlein.

If I was in that position I would pick to go play on the Challenge Tour. Mostly for the overseas travel, and I’d probably stay on the European Tour if I made it through. Just seems a bit more laid back, and less corporate.

While I admire BK for the godly play he has showcased, it turned out to be a boring PGA for me. I mean, doesn't have to be Tiger, but a few guys up top to keep you glued to the TV until the final hole would have been nice.

While true, it’s also less costly to live in most of Europe than in most of the US.

I agree with Shankster, If I had the ability of some of these guys, I would chose the European Tour. At least in the short term.

I’m going to watch some of the final round today and hopefully watch BK finish this off.
Then at 7:10 head out to local Exec and get as many hikes as we can in. SWMBO is going to make a return to action also. Been over 2 years since she’s swung a club.

Even if today is just a repeat of BK's dominance over the rest of the field, I'll find it interesting to watch for several reasons.   Obviously, watching BK break records and achieve something that hasn't been done before will be historic.  But also watching the race for second will be a great subplot, providing that CBS doesn't focus solely on BK.  Back when Tiger was dominating the field in tournaments, golf was still exciting to watch, including the meltdowns of competitors, the sheer awesomeness of Tiger's performance, and the possible mistakes awaiting down the road were all factors.  And, most of us remember Greg Norman's famous collapse from a for sure win at The Masters --- stranger things have happened.  Besides, I'm still pretty much bed ridden and house bound following surgery, so I'll have little else to do but watch golf 🙂

Straight from the “you can’t make this stuff up” file, the NCAA issued nonconforming yardage books to every team and player for the women’s national championships.

Why does anything the NCAA does never surprise me?

Off is right... hope he drains this putt.

I watched BK’s warmup on the range and he was fighting something. Claude Harmon III was making hand motions and walking up to the line a lot more often than a coach would when a player is striping it. I think today may be more interesting down the stretch than initially anticipated.
