Turning Stone Casino has a pretty nice course... It's fairley new, and in the last two years has been the first stop in the Fall series... they have 5 courses, I've played one (sandstone Hollow) and it's beautiful...

I hear Cape May National at the southern tip of NJ is quite the deal.

It is not bad, but a better deal is driving a little north of AC and playing Twisted Dune or Renault Winery. I used to have a seasonal membership at Cape May and at Sand Barrens and ended up dropping both after I started playing at the other two. My brother in law is a chef at Renault so I am a bit biased, but it is a great track. Both are well worth the 45 minute drive from my beach house.

I'm in Saratoga... Can't go wrong with Turning Stone. A little closer to home there's Saratoga National and the Sagamore. Crumpin-Fox in Bernardston, MA is reportedly excellent. Cranwell Resort in Lenox, MA is very nice.

On a reasonable budget, my favorite public course in the Albany area is Orchard Creek in Altamont.
