Driver average 113mph

Titliest ProVI

Never played Snell. Been interested but feel ball choice needs to be consistent so I’ve just purchased large discounts of ProVIs, TP5x, and Bridgestone B330 (past three years).

Testers Wanted (10)

Fresh off it's stellar performance in the MyGolfSpy 2019 Golf Ball Buyers Guide (Read it Here) the newly released Snell MTB-X is taking the golf ball world by storm.  Within two days of the study the ball was sold out on Snell's website. So what's all the fuss about, can a $32 (Less if you buy in quantity) ball  really perform as well as some of the "Big Boy" balls?  Well that's what we want you to determine for yourself.

Ten members will be selected to receive, test and keep a dozen Snell MTB-X balls (your choice of White or Yellow) then report back on the forum your experience and thoughts of the ball

The new 2019 Snell MTB-X is a 3-piece tour ball designed for lower driver spin, higher ball speeds, reducing “ballooning” with irons and providing excellent feel around the greens.

How To Apply

Open to U.S. and Canada Residents

Important Steps Please Follow All Them Exactly

*DO NOT quote this post in your application post!

Titleist Pro V1

Was given 2 sleeves of MTB-Black about 1 month ago and used them for a monday skins game in the wind.  They did NOT wobble in the wind, held the greens, and gave me plenty of distance of the tee.

Dear :Snell:

I would love to test the Snell MTB-X golf balls.  I have over 30 years experience playing and a current handicap of 6.

I've played a wide range of golf ball brands including a few Snells.

My current favorites are Titleist Pro-v1, Taylormade MP-5, and Callaway Chromesoft. However, I use more inexpensive balls in the winter.

Thank you for the opportunity! ⛳

Swing Speed - 112mph driver/92mph 6 iron

Current Ball - Been trying out various balls this year and have really enjoyed playing the TP5x and the Srixon Z Star XV (previously I played Pro V1x and was one of those play what I find guys).  The XV has seemed to be the longest ball I have played with, but the TP5x has been a straighter ball for me with really good feel.  I played the Vice Pro Plus this year, but it was consistently shorter.  However, it did feel pretty good off irons.  I tried Bridgestone Tour Bx based on your study, but for some reason I couldn't hit it well at all.  It sprayed all over, and had no feel for me around greens (switched mid round back to TP5x and instantly straightened out my ball flight...Note is was a windy day)

Snell Experience - Currently none, but Fedex arrives today with some MTB-X.  Going to throw it in for my round at Phx CC on Sunday.

Driver - Taylormade M5 10.5 (set to 9.75 deg and 1.5 open)  Fujikura Pro 2.0 Tour Spec 7x

3 wood - TM M3 17 deg (set to 15.5 deg and 3 deg open) GD DI 7x

3 Hybrid - TM rocketballz Accra Dymatch S165, 68g, M5 flex (XS)

Irons  (4-5) - Srixon 585s Nippon Modus Pro 120x

Irons (6-W) - Srixon 785s Nippon Modus Pro 120x

Wedges (51, 56, 60) - Cleveland RTX4 Nippon Modus 125 Wedge Flex

Putter - EvnRoll ER5
