Pro V1x vs. Tour B X

No experience with Snell.  I recently read that the person behind Snell formerly designed Pro V1(x) series balls; that piqued some interest.  Based on the MGS ball test, however, I decided the ProV1 X and Tour B x may be more consistent distance and spin for me. I'd still love to find out more though!

A friend gave me 2 Snell MTBs and I got good feedback.  Would like to test the balls on a longer term and provide complete evaluation.

I played a dozen of MTB Snell balls about 2-3 years ago...but the only time I've played them since was when I found a ball here or there. Really enjoyed the dozen that I had

Jordan

Newport Beach, CA

Clubhead speed: 95-100

Currently playing: Snell MTB Red

I ordered the MTB red value pack a month or so before Snell announced the arrival of the MTB-X, which coincided with the discontinuation of the MTB Red I just ordered. I've actually enjoyed the red and it holds greens with that extra spin inside 150, but have noticed some extra spin on longer mis hits. It would be great to see the advances in the X that led to the death of, still a very good, Red.

Testers Wanted (10)

Fresh off it's stellar performance in the MyGolfSpy 2019 Golf Ball Buyers Guide (Read it Here) the newly released Snell MTB-X is taking the golf ball world by storm.  Within two days of the study the ball was sold out on Snell's website. So what's all the fuss about, can a $32 (Less if you buy in quantity) ball  really perform as well as some of the "Big Boy" balls?  Well that's what we want you to determine for yourself.

Ten members will be selected to receive, test and keep a dozen Snell MTB-X balls (your choice of White or Yellow) then report back on the forum your experience and thoughts of the ball

snell_12x8.jpg

The new 2019 Snell MTB-X is a 3-piece tour ball designed for lower driver spin, higher ball speeds, reducing “ballooning” with irons and providing excellent feel around the greens.

How To Apply

Open to U.S. and Canada Residents

Swing Speed- Depends on what I can get out of my old man back but generally hover around 105. Always got a little reserve to step on the gas when needed.

Current Primary Ball- Up for debate. Was Chromesoft X but plan on trying some new balls based on Most Wanted Golf Ball testing. Already bought a sleeve of Bridgestone BX.

I have played the Snell MTB before. Had good results but found I just liked the chromesoft a bit better. But I'm down to have my mind changed and I think the X with the high compression would be great to test. Thanks for your consideration.
