golfblaze 0
Blaze - Quincy, IL 130 mph Driver Pro V 1 One of my good buddies has had me hit the snell golf ball a couple years ago. I was impressed by the overall distance, far surpassing the pro v 1x (at the time). The Snell ball did not spin enough with my iron approach shots, which is the reason I stuck with the Pro V(x). Been interested ever since the report came out that the MTB-X is 15 yards longer than the ball I play. I'd like to test the Yellow MTB-X.
sigephon 3
Andy - Farmington, MN 109mph with the Driver Bridgestone Tour B X I had the original pack of the MTB. When the MTB Black and Red came out I got a trial pack of those. I liked them both. The cover differences (in color and finish mostly) between the Red and Black didn't bother me. I never got dialed in to which ball would be the best for my game since the difference between the two was mid-long range iron spin so in the end I played the Red more because the finish of the cover stayed cleaner and I thought held up to abuse better than the MTB Black. No sacrifice in any green side performance for me.

Within two days of the study the ball was sold out on Snell's website. So what's all the fuss about, can a $32 (Less if you buy in quantity) ball really perform as well as some of the "Big Boy" balls? Well that's what we want you to determine for yourself. Ten members will be selected to receive, test and keep a dozen Snell MTB-X balls (your choice of White or Yellow) then report back on the forum your experience and thoughts of the ball The new 2019 Snell MTB-X is a 3-piece tour ball designed for lower driver spin, higher ball speeds, reducing “ballooning” with irons and providing excellent feel around the greens.
