My name is Tyler Florio I am from Killingworth Connecticut a small like town in the middle of nowhere. I work for a popular Connecticut golf center called Lyman orchards. My handicap is a 12. Much needed improvement in my golf game at the moment, but that is what's keeps us coming back. The current irons I use are the Nike Slingshot OSS dating all the way back to 2007-2008 era. I would really love to test out the Prowler VT and show it off to everyone at my work. Thanks for the opportunity to enter in this and be able to test out these irons!!

 PING i20

 Black Cat (I noted the graphite shafts are +1/4", which is what my i20s are)

The twin slot technology reminds me of the 'speed slots' in the TM lines.

The lofts are 'traditional' (and the same as my i20s)...it'd be nice to compare/contrast this Lynx 'modern offering' to my PING 'aged staple'.

I would love to write about the Lynx Black Cat  Irons, and give a thorough review, as I have been tweaking my set and believe these would probably fit right into the new gaps. I used to love to write for epinions backin the day, and would love to dust off my old review chops with these babies. It would be fun to see how they compare to my Srixons which, similarly to the Black Cat, offer a nice bridge between game improvement, and Super Game Improvement Irons.

one of my earliest golf memories is watching Freddy and Ernie playing the Lynx. I wanted to look that cool and play that well. My love of the game has grown stronger every year since. Thanks

Looks pretty interesting. I mostly only see lynx golf accessories not golf clubs. Would be cool to see how these compare to some of the bigger name brands.

Talk about time travel and it didn't even cost a bag of doritos. Thanks MGS and Lynx for this one.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about the Lynx products.  They were pretty big there for awhile.  I'll be testing my PING G410 irons in the next week or so. Good luck everyone!

      When it comes to PING many things come to mind, quality, engineering, performance and irons are among the first things most people will think of.   And with the release earlier this year of the G410 irons, PING has hit on each one of those characteristics.
      Following the huge success of the G400 irons, PING has hit a home run with the striking black and red colors of this iron, as well as a being a bit more streamlined in all the right places.   PING has achieved the rare feat of providing an iron that has a profile appealing to even the most discerning of golfers, but yet still offering the forgiveness and help that higher handicaps look for.

      We are looking for three forum members to join staff member Golfspy_Stroker in testing, reviewing and keeping a set of these G410's built to their custom specs.  Testing will require a nearly two month commitment of putting the irons in play on the course, at the range and providing ongoing commentary in the forum thorough out the process.
      PING has opened this testing to all golfers regardless of country of residence.   All you have to do to be eligible for the testing is follow the below instructions.

      In a post in this thread please provide the following information...AND DO NOT QUOTE this post when replying!
      First Name/State or Country of residence
      Handicap
      Current irons in Play
      The carry distance of the your 7 iron
      That's it.   Good luck to everybody
      We'll be selecting the testers within the next 10 to 14 days, so check back to see if you've been selected!

      This review coincided with the National D7 Challenge that Wilson Staff ran through the first 3 months of the season.   To be eligible for the testing, forum members had to go to a Wilson Demo Day or local golf store and demo the D7 iron and see how much distance they gained.
      As a result the selected members received a full set of D7 irons.  This testing is also a milestone for MGS of sorts as it marks the first official club test for our women members.  So we're excited to have a couple of them chiming in on what we are sure will be some very helpful and insightful reviews.

      The Testers are as follows:

      Howdy! Looking forward to my fitting next week for the new T-Series irons. Currently gaming 7-9 AP2 and 5-6 AP3 and a 4 in the TMB.
      Titleist usually gives their fitters a sheet with blend suggestions (and even loft adjustments recommendations). Has anyone seen this sheet yet? Has anyone been fitted for a blended set? If so, what is your setup?
      Thanks!

      Five of our trusted members have been selected to test and review the Tommy Armour Atomic irons and report back their findings to the forum.  Their journey with these irons has begun and below you will first read their Stage 1 reviews which will give you some insight to the person behind the forum name and learn a bit about their game to see if what they find in these irons will relate to your game.
      Along with that they will share some pictures of the clubs straight out of the box and give us some initial thoughts on them.  So tune in and follow their journey over the next 4 to 6 weeks as they see if they can gain more distance in their iron game and more importantly, see if that translates to lower scores.

      Our Five Testers are
      @sirchunksalot                       Stage 1                        Stage 2
      @Tsecor                                  Stage 1                        Stage 2

      Lynx Golf announced it's return to the US Market earlier this year.  To help spread the word, Lynx offered up 4 sets of it's Black Cat and 4 sets of it's Prowler VT irons to testers of tMYGolfSpy.   These testers will be sharing their thoughts with you on everything regarding these irons.
      They'll begin with a bio of themselves and their games so you can see which tester might most resemble your playing ability and some initial thoughts on the looks of the clubs fresh out of the boxes from the UK.
      Over the next six weeks or so, they will be returning to the thread to share their thoughts and answer any specific questions you may have about the irons, so check back here regularly to see how they are performing for the testers.
