Titleist T300

Recommended Posts

Starting to see these beasts posted around social media as they recently hit the USGA conforming list. First thought was that damn they look ugly. Hopefully the consumer release will pretty them up a bit. Thoughts?

The Nike slingshot comes to mind. Not in a good way.

Well, it better play really, really good. I’m not crazy about the looks but if it’s 10 yards longer I could learn to love it.

WTF is that? I had to check to make sure it wasn't April Fools day. 😬

Yeah, like I've told some others.   The USGA conforming photos are often a far cry from the final released product in a cosmetic form.   They have to provide the club and all the tech specs and measurements to the USGA for approval, looks aren't a factor.

Think of the initial photos that came out last summer of the Srixon 585/785 series, they were getting destroyed on the looks, and they came out to rave reviews.

so yeah, I don't get too excited either way when I see these pics.   I'll wait and see the real deal.

I agree, super ugly.  I see a combination of a Mizuno JPx 900/919 head shape and the interior reminds me of the Ping G400.  Does anyone else see this or is it just me?

I can definitely see where you get the G400 from, and a bit of the JPX as well.

I am just confident we will be singing a different tune in September.

I'm guessing they are the replacement for the AP1's.  I'm betting the irons aimed at better players will be better looking.

Could just be an experimental prototype that will never be marketed?

So with this news, when should we be seeing current model sales start to trickle out?

That connection at the end is like half a speed bridge too. Seems like it might be a bridge to no where.
