I love the shorter length driver. I don't think I will ever go back to full length. Yes you can hit the long ones further but the loss of accuracy is to big to compensate

Update on my tournament. Started off very steady with 4 straight pars, ended up shooting a smooth 37 on the front 9, two bogeys and one birdie. On the back 9, the wheels came off and I mean off. Ended up shooting an 83, after a 37 start I was disgusted. Took me out of the money by 1 stroke, one stupid stroke. And I forgot to mention my match play tournament starts tomorrow. My first opponent has the same handicap, so don’t have to give any shots. I’ll let you guys know how that goes tomorrow night.

I should be happy with 2nd but I can't help but feel dissapointed that I didn't even have the chance to try and catch the leader.  Oh well.

you have the same shaft I got, was it cut down or did you have it cut? what length?

I'm struggling with mine, only 2 good outings with it and now back to all over the place! Yes it's probably me but confidence is low, again.

I ordered the tour length at 44.5". You should talk to the place you bought it from, they should be able to help

thats only 0.75" less than stock, I might try gripping down an inch for awhile and see how that goes.

Look what arrived yesterday!  I almost bought the exact same pair of shoes about a month ago but held off in the hopes that I would finish near the top and get lucky with the Cobra/Puma prize.  All of these look fantastic; they really 'blue' my mind with the choices.

Admit it, that was a pretty good dad pun.

Next time I wear my Puma hat and shirt I’ll snap a pic. I haven’t been on here much lately, 10 or so weeks of this challenge will do that to ya.
I’ve been struggling lately with my driver, no big secret there, so today I had an impromptu lesson with just my driver. Turns out I was starting my hips to soon and causing me to leave the face open. 2 minutes later, launching them right down the middle. Funny how someone can look at 3-4 swings and tell you one little thing to do that improves everything. Now, can I transfer what I learned tonight to the tee box, we’ll just have to see.

I really appreciate that.  I still don't know if I deserve it, but I am really excited to go smash some golf balls with it.  It's gonna be a title fight between it and the G400.  I'll write a review of it in a couple of months.  Thanks to @chisag, I've got a shaft comparison to do on course with it too.

I may have found the best of both worlds with all Cobra clubs except 5-PW Mizuno 919 Forged.  Hole 6 tonight:

1st shot: Cobra F9 driver 280 yards onto the right side of the fairway
2nd shot: Mizuno 919 Forged 5-iron 205 yards just over the green
3rd shot: Cobra KING Black Wedge hole-out for eagle.

I have a very selective memory so I'm going to ignore the double bogey that immediately followed the eagle.
