My breakdown goes like this

I keep getting different answers

equals 195

if prechatter counts then it goes

5x9/4x11+129+63+47-126-28 equals 208.75

Final answers here for me.

5 * 9 = 45 % 4 = 11.25 * 11 = 123.75 + 99 = 222.75 + 84 = 306.75 + 47 = 353.75 - 126 = 227.75 - 28 = 199.75

The golf gods must be pissed at me this week. IMG_0485.JPG
Hopefully I can get one in tomorrow, but I’m sure it’ll rain, or, the course will be closed 🤬

Agreed but I'm sticking with 195 or 208.75 because I'm going nuts

I just realized I added instead of multiplied so I changed mine really quick

5*2/4*11+195+81.6+47-21-28 = 302.1

I’m giving up too - feels wrong to continue guessing. But all my guesses accurately covered what I saw as potential ambiguity (# challenge weeks and handicap statements)

Posted (edited)

Loving the utter confusion that the trivia question causes 🤣. The same thing happened last year.

Right I am going to try to sneak another round in today and will post my review later on. I was supposed to play yesterday, the day was beautiful, I was feeling good, I got to my car and the battery was dead 😭. After some swearing and sulking I went and shelled out some cash and hopefully it's all good now 😁😎

Ok boys.

Package waiting for me on the porch in the dark.  Feel like a kid at Christmas.

Big thank you to Cobra/Puma for the opportunity to try out these shoes.

As a podiatrist I make shoe recommendations every day so I will give you my professional assessment....and tomorrow I will give you my on course assessment.

First, the shoes do run a little on the large size so make sure you try them out first as they are a little big, but I just put a pair of my bigger orthotics in the shoes, and they fit fine now.

Second, the shoes do have torsional stability when you try to twist them side to side.

Third, the forefoot only breaks....or bends at the appropriate spot where your foot would bend.  Some shoes will bend at the midfoot level which is not going to be a comfortable shoe.

Fourth, there is a rigid heel counter although it is a little on the small side so stability will be compromised a little bit.

The fit is like a sock....and surprisingly....there is plenty of room in the forefoot area to accommodate my tailors bunions.  Shoe seems to be very well cushioned.

This shoe probably won’t work well for people with really flat feet....or who need a lot of stability in a shoe....if you are one of these people.....you know it!

The insole is removable....really cheap shoes have the insole glued into place.  The only exception to this rule is a well made dress shoe.  The lasting appears as though it is quality.

This is a good looking shoe.

I'm going to give it one more go now that I had time to sit down and think instead of being in a hurry to post my answer.

  • Number of Competitors: 5
  • Challenge Weeks: 8
  • Exclamation marks: 4
  • Number of shots won by: 11
  • Votes in pre-chatter: 195
    • bardle: 26
    • Bucky CC: 34
    • Nunfa0: 105
    • palvord: 24
    • roberston153: 6
  • Sum of Overall HC: 82 (81.6)
    • bardle: 25.3
    • Bucky CC: 8.8
    • Nunfa0: 7.5
    • palvord: 11.2
    • roberston153: 28.8
  • Age: 47
  • Holes that went into baseline: 378
    • 21 rounds assuming played full 18 holes
  • 5i Shots: 28

Math: 5x8/4x11+195+82+47-378-28 = 28

Final answer is 28
