But if you were how do you figure in ground forces? Do you preplan for uneven turf or surfaces? How to figure in the COR of grass vs concrete?

  1. Calculate Air Density
  2. What's the elevation change
  3. Wind Vector
  4. Local slope adjustment
  5. Roll out factor
  6. Can't give you guys everything or I'll have no chance at ever beating you

Bryson just called and said you forgot include geographic latitude to account for Coriolis affect and angular rotation. He wants the playing field to be as level as possible.

This sounds like you are asking about trying to calculate f*arting at rest and in motion.  I guess it depends on the thickness of the material the air molecules have to go through and if you are walking towards or away from the pin...😁🤦‍♂️😂🤣

"Coefficient of restitution is a measurement of the energy loss or retention when two objects collide. The COR measurement is always expressed as a number between 0.000 (meaning all energy is lost in the collision) and 1.000 (which means a perfect, elastic collision in which all energy is transferred from one object to the other).". To calculate the COR of grass and concrete, you can use the following formula:

To find relative velocity, you can sub in the following equation above for rvac and rvbc...

Remember that the grass type could factor in this calculation as well since zoysia, bent grass, and Poa may have different CORs.
