My old set had 6 manufacturers in the bag so I was definitely a believer in what they had to say but they also say use what works. These clubs seem to be working for me so  maybe I will only have two manufacturers in the bag 😁😎

By the way you forgot @bardle

Dammit I fixed it. Sorry @bardle

Two Questions:
1. With the new clubs, what's the biggest difference you've noticed in terms of the actual shots? Distance, shape, spin, etc.
2. Knowing what you know now, if you could only keep either the clubs or Arccos, which would you keep?

1 I also gamed GI irons, so no real difference there, maybe a tad longer.
2 Clubs

TonyC and Adam contend that there is a very rare chance that all 14 clubs will come from one manufacturer (I know you only have 13). But after playing with a set from top to bottom with same company what say you?

It doesn’t matter to me what’s stamped on the club as long as it performs. At one point I had 5 different manufacturers in my bag, because that’s what worked at the time.

18 completed today. Shot 77 hitting nothing but 3 wood and hybrids off the tees. Grabbing a quick bite to eat and heading out for 9 or 18 more.

1. Distance. I've gained 5-10yds of distance from my previous set. Spin and shot shape are the same.

2. The clubs. Arccos is a wonderful tool, but you can manually gather all of the data and use a rangefinder for distances.

So what is the future of these demo clubs?

Keep as your regular gamers, donate to a junior, store away for a day when your regulars get on your nerves, give to me?

Eh?

These are 99.99% going to be my clubs going forward. I don't see a club from my previous set making its way into my bag.

@palvord @Nunfa0 @Bucky CC @robertson153 @bardle

They're probably correct. If we were given free reign of a Club Champion and fitted with any combination of head and shaft regardless of OEM, our bags would probably be a mashup of various OEM's. My previous set had 6 OEMs, but that was more due to budget decisions over a specific fitting.

For this test/challenge, I find it hard to see how any of these clubs would be displaced. They were fit for me and are better than any previous club I have used.

I currently play a Cobra AMP from about 6-7 years ago. When I tested the F9 driver at GG, it felt too light and even tinkering with multiple shafts I couldn't get a good feel for it and left pretty disappointed. Is this something that y'all felt as well and if so how long did it take to get used to?

1. Distance. Big time. Like this from today...

Screenshot_20190711-200142.thumb.png.a3142c941cd7dfd780a8056872c3f2d1.png

That's about 35 yds longer than my old 5 iron...averaged out I probably have an extra 15 yards in these over my old ones.

2. The clubs. Hands down.

Not sure what your looking for. I don't think there is any kind of advantage or anything to playing a full set from the same manufacturer or anything...

It felt super light to me as well. And I was gaming an F7. I don't think you can get there in one demo session honestly. I'd suggest a utry or something if it's an option. It took me 4 weeks to adjust but now I'm suddenly hitting bombs. Here's today's longest...

Y'all need to quit this, I'm already giving my F6 the side eye, I just paid my daughter's first college tuition bill. I don't need to be lusting after a new driver right about now!

I had a Ping G400 LST that had a lighter shaft than the F9 so if anything it felt heavier. There was no adjustment period either, I just stood up  and started hitting bombs 🏌️🚀💥😁😎

Unfortunately no one club suits everyone but maybe the Tour version would work for you. It has a shorter shaft and heavier weights in the bottom.

Two Questions:

1. With the new clubs, what's the biggest difference you've noticed in terms of the actual shots? Distance, shape, spin, etc.

2. Knowing what you know now, if you could only keep either the clubs or Arccos, which would you keep?

1. The irons definitely seem to fly higher than my previous set.  They are very high and very straight.

2. I would trade in my irons and keep Driver, 3W, 3H, 4H, 3 wedges AND the Arccos system.

@palvord @Nunfa0 @Bucky CC @robertson153 @bardle

Totally agree.  I love most of the Cobra clubs but I think I can find a better fit with the irons.  Once this contest is over I won't be in a rush to switch out anything but I know it will happen before next season starts.

For something like the driver I may be able to find an extra yard or two with a different manufacturer, but is that really worth $500+?  It's not to me.

Speaking of the driver, do you think that the F9 is really THAT good or is it because you were better fitted to the shaft?

IMO getting fit helped on my misses, but the Epic Flash was a little longer (that I wasn’t fit for) All in all I truly believe the F9 is very forgiving.
