There’s a saying about that place.

“It’s better than nothing.”

Sometimes I am not sure about that.

And tell your brother I said Semper Paratus.

As some famous commencement speech that may or may not have been real starts....

Wear sunscreen.

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.

I can only imagine how white your skin is from being stuck in the hinterlands.... good luck with the move and enjoy the new digs!

How about posting a Seve-like 3 iron out of the sand on the beach once you get there ??? 🙂

Thanks Rev. Looking forward to the new adventure. We will be planning a trip to Disney next spring, so I’ll be in touch with all of the Florida spies to try and sneak a round in.

Was planning on playing with Golfspy_Stroker, JLukes, but we wanted to change our plans slightly after buying the house to get there and enjoy a few weeks before heading back to work. Close enough to NJ that I’ll be in touch sometime during my tour with JLukes to play, and we are planning a trip to Boston/Salem in October. So hopefully we can get those rounds in.

Side note.... this has been the absolute longest week of my tour. Can’t believe it isn’t Friday yet.

Safe journey and thanks so much for your service. Jobs that involve service always involve sacrifice and that sacrifice is often ignored but thank you and tell your family thank you too. Enjoy the warmer weather! I know what you mean about summers - I used to live right on Lake Erie and man September was the most beautiful month imaginable! But I don't miss the winter winds whipping off the lake!
