Meijer LPGA Classic Preview, Pairings, and More

This week the LPGA moves to the state of Michigan for the playing of the Meijer LPGA Classic For Simply Give.

We have tickets for today but do not see any way they will be playing based on the amount of rain the course has already received and what the forecast/radar looks like.  My 7 year old daughter is absolutely devastated unfortunately.

Weather has definitely been a bust for us in the Midwest. If they get rained out take your daughter to the Marathon Classic in July. Not that far from Grand Rapids and all of the top players seen to go there. It's a great venue and the weather is generally good.

Unfortunately we are in Traverse City so Toledo is a good 4.5 hours one way.  We will try again next year I hope.

I don't know if I will even ask.  It was only $20 for my wife and I and the 4 kids were free.  Meijer does a lot of good with the money they raise and are quite generous with the non-profit for which I work.

So cool to see the pros torch a course I've actually played on haha. They make it look so easy. If it weren't for a weekend out of town I would have loved to stop by and watch the ladies remind me how bad my game is
