At my home courses i'll use the good old yardage book and walk-off my distances.

Leupold GX-3i  and tried my Gramin Fenix 5 Plus (but it's more of a pain...I can't wear a watch while i play)

I currently use a range finder, which isn't all that accurate!

I'm using a Bushnell Phantom

I golf three to four times a week and various courses in North Eastern Ohio.

Sadly, I rely on good ol eyeballing! Occasionally I’ll piggy back off of a friends rangefinder or GPS technology

Yes I rely heavily on a range finder as I'm old and my eyes are not what they use to be.

I have a Bushnell Medalist and I would love to upgrade to something that will make it easier to lock on the flag.

Oh please give me a shot at testing this rangefinder out.  My wife has commandeered "my" rangefinder and I haven't had it to use for the last 8 months.  Before we become a two rangefinder family I need to figure out what to purchase so this would be a nice opportunity.  I'm a high handicapper so I hit more shots than the average guy which begs a rangefinder doesn't it?

I'm a civil engineer, numbers guy, birdwatcher and all around good guy - heck, what more could you ask for?

I'm one of your guys - let's do this !!
