jfolkner7
Jonathan, Jacksonville, FL Currently no rangefinder, used them a ton back when I played college golf and played more competitively. I've owned a Bushnell Pinseeker 1500, Bushnell Tour V2, and Bushnell Tour V3.
Golfhandds
Kevin Vienna VA I use a GPS watch and a range finder. Using shot scope GPS Tracker (excellent) and an old Bushnell pin seeker. Range finder gives me distance to pin. GPS gives front and back of green so I know where to land the shot (where the greatest room for error is.) GerryMpgapro
I've used over a dozen hand held rangefinders over the last 15-20 years. I've also given a fair amount of attention to three of the top watch gps Maker's over the last 5 years. Personally I prefer the accuracy of a hand held gos unit opposed to any of the watches I have tried. The difference of 3-6 feet can mean the difference of breaking par or trying to break 75. Plus depending on where I am playing in some of the more humid climates I find a watch to be more of a neusence then anything during my swing. Half the time I've even taken it off and attached it to my bag. This is how I've ended up always having a hand held unit in my bag. Especially with a couple key options I seem to trust in have to include pin seeker and automatic slope adjustment. This just gives me that much more confidence when selecting my club and shot type. dchuck1217
Davis - Albany NY Currently use 18 Birdies app, yardage markers/eye balling and “feel” (Yes this one is mostly a joke - but some days a club up if I haven’t been feeling like I have been hitting far enough). My local muni course also has GPS in the carts which is very handy. But I walk so I normally ask my partners for a distance read. (Only rangefinder I’ve ever used has been the players in my group - I play with much more wealthy players than I am and they have the fancy gadgets)

Duffer_E
Evan Herndon, VA I currently use my Android phone and SwingU for GPS (but it kills my phone pretty fast -- I need to upgrade my phone!) I have been researching rangefinders, and, thanks to the timely MGS Most Wanted Rangefinders of 2019 article, I had narrowed down my choices to the Nikon CoolShot Pro Stabilized, the Garmin Z80, the Bushnell Hybrid and the Precision Pro NX9 (The Nikon is the frontrunner) . I was just trying to find a reason to pull the trigger on the purchase. One of the things holding me back is that I am still relatively new to the game (21 Handicap), and I'm not sure that a rangefinder is going to improve my score much. However, several people I golf with say that the simple knowledge of your distance to the target is a huge boost in confidence. One of my playing partners even has an older model Nikon (the CoolShot 20) and I was paired with her, and she used it to give me distances. That day, I shot my best round ever -- 92 (legitimate, no gimmes, no mulligans). So I am now sold on getting a rangefinder. I am therefore extremely hopeful to be picked for this particular honor. CudaKota66
I purchased the NX-7 Pro, based-on the MGS review. It's a very serviceable rangefinder that does as-advertised. Yes, I have a handful of times when it read '58 yards' when I'm standing near the 150-yard placard in the fairway Would appreciate testing the NX-9 & have the 'current' model to base it against Epic Flash King F8 3W & F9 Baffler G425 4i-PW CBX2 50/54/58 Pro V1X or Tour Response (thanks to MGS testing)
