So I knew my grandfather loved golf through stories and such passed down. He passed away when I was 12. My mom found some pictures of him while he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1951. Some really cool pictures, he traveled to Japan on a ship, and back to California. He was a heck of a photographer. Served in the Korean War.

 

Below photos, he’s the one not looking at the camera, and my grandma carrying a bag. Not sure if she was playing or caddying for him.

Great photos, reminds me of pictures of my father when he was young, before Americans were are all fat and lazy, myself included.

Yeah. Those are most likely long gone. Pawned or burned by my awesome relatives. Pretty sure he had lead poisoning from working in the AC Delco plant.... Went Mad. Everyone thought he was doing it on purpose, so they all lost touch with him. Pretty sad. I wasn’t old enough to remember any of it.

Cool pics and stories.  My mother grew up in Biloxi and one of her sisters still lives near there.
