ole gray 17,619
I've seen a lot of positive comments on the Cobra F-Max irons. Last year's mode as well as the current 2019 model are built to help golfers with declining swing speeds and trouble elevating the ball. Has anyone tried these featherweight irons and if so, what are your thoughts? https://mygolfspy.com/first-look-cobra-f-max-superlite-series/ 1 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter
ole gray 17,619
I picked up a set of these yesterday and will be posting a few of my thoughts as I spend some time with them. With my 7 iron speed in the upper 60 to lower 70 range these should be an interesting experiment. 7 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter
Hook DeLoft 703
Looking forward to your impressions. tdkrod 8
I’m interested in your opinion also, since you’ve had success with Cleveland and Callaway, my swing speed is slower also. These clubs can be found at good prices. Just haven’t heard much about them.

ole gray 17,619
Ok so here are my thoughts on the F-Max Super Light Cobra irons. They do help you elevate the ball high so if you're having problems with low trajectory, these should help you get the ball up more consistently. One thing you need to understand. The lofts are not as strong as the majority of the new sets on the market. Higher loft usually means less distance for us average golfers so if you already have a set of irons with the jacked up lofts, you might be disappointed with total distance. I suppose this depends on your swing speed, smash factor, etc. My swing was in the toilet for the two rounds I gamed the F-Max. My smash factor couldn't smash a hot plate of mashed potatoes, so don't take my word as the rule of thumb on the distance thing. Update: My swing is coming around so we may be putting these back in the holster for another round. I'll report back with more info once I've had some quality time with em. 4 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter
ole gray 17,619
It's amazing how much better these irons are performing now that I'm putting a decent move on the ball! I suppose it's a blessing that no one bought them because they are really growing on me. They feel sooooooooo good when you flush one and I'm seeing more distance creeping back. I'm excited to see how this turns out! It's easy to blame our crappy game on equipment and if we only stay with them long enough to see the cream rise to the top, surprise surprise surprise. 5 Quote Callaway Rogue ST Max Driver 10.5 Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree Odyssey White Hot OG 7S Putter
