I’m really enjoying watching my Tigers this year! The offense isn’t boring like it was under Miles, and Burrow is the real deal! They have it all on offense: QB, a line, RB, receivers, and finally some great play calling! Defense came-up HUGE! For awhile it looked like “last one who scores, wins.”

Boise State looking like they belong.  Hawaii has a strong team this year. I went to A BSU years ago and couldn't see normal coloring for a week .  Sounds like my grand nephew is heading there in fall of 2020 - I'm wearing sunglasses.

Could be that “signature” road win that everyone seems to use as a talking point.

I am just hoping they saved all this “speed in space” stuff for mid/late season.

UGA will still be top 10 since they beat #9 ND. I think they should drop to #10-12 below ND because you don't lose to a 2-3 S Carolina at home and not take a big fall for it. That's just my opinion and I've been known to be wrong.

The big 10 will be fun to watch since there's 3 teams still in the mix and Michigan a chance to play spoiler.

After that uninspired play I don't think we should be in the top 10.  Unless our OC decides that 2 runs between the guards and a desperation 3rd down pass is good offense against an 8 or 9 man in the box defense, we aren't going to even end up as a ranked team.

Don't get to down on them, they'll use this as motivation.  I don't think they should have dropped to less than #8. Dang, Arizona let me down .  Now I'm rooting for the Ducks next week... yuck, that tasted terrible!

I think Harbaugh needs this win more than any other for the rest of the season. It can be a proving ground for his new coaches, players, and get rid of some of the negative press.

This game will set the tone for the next 2 seasons in A2.

Predicting (well, more like hoping) Louisville flips the polls on its head today.  Florida is in for a scrap with the Gamecocks who are still high on adrenaline from their upset win last week. Home field will be the difference at Penn State Stadium - which sounds more appropriate than Beaver Stadium... Whaaat?  Oregon wins a close game on the road.  My stomach gets a short rest with the Irish idle today.

What are you predicting from week 8?

Yeah. PSU played well in the first 13 minutes or so of the game.

Michigan made the usual mistakes. On paper Michigan should have won this game by a large margin. They always get something going then make a critical error.

But they aren’t played on paper, and PSU won.

The worst part about it is the poor kid that dropped the ball in the end zone on Michigan’s final play will be cyber bullied for a long time by people that probably never played the game.

I will say I didn’t think I’d see the day when Minnesota was 7-0 and Michigan was 5-2.

Easier road for Minneflowta by not being the topic of every sports outlet talking trash about the coach... I am going to avoid reading “news” about football from now on. It’s just as useless as CNN or Fox News. All negativity.

I'm down on the Huskies for two reasons.  First having worked at Boeing for 30 years and enduring a saturated population of UW colleagues.  Second was the Neuheisel Scandal followed by Petersen leaving Boise State for UW. I loved Chris at BSU and was ticked he left.  In any case, it's an interesting season in the PAC 12 - extremely competitive.

Speaking of Boise State, I thought sure they would handle BYU and be 7-0... dang.

We're getting close to chaos in late October/early November where the polls start changing drastically. We almost had it yesterday.
Illinois with the upset of the year again Wisconsin.
Texas needed a last second field goal to beat Kansas... In Austin.
Florida needed some blatantly missed holding calls to beat South Carolina.
Oregon needed a 4q rally to beat Washington.
Michigan's Ronnie Bell... Man that's tough for the kid.
Boise lost in Provo. It will be tough to get a NY6 bowl invite but there's still hope because a lot of the top 15 have to play one another.

I get so amped on Saturdays and nap on Sundays because the NFL doesn't do this for me. However my Astros took it out of me and I need to sleep all day today.

Just bad calls all around. There was a ton of roughing the punter, missed calls, not only for Michigan but PSU as well.

Refs definitely had an influence on the game. That and some dumb mistakes on defense, like holding on 3 rd and 10, a free first down lead to a TD.
