I'm trying to temper my excitement with this Oregon lead. My goodness. This could open the door to the Big 12 winner. 

This Oregon defense is hitting Utah hard.

Utah was a paper tiger that got utterly exposed for what they were last night. The talking heads build some teams up to be much more than they are to keep viewership.

It’s a sham! Until they form a playoff similar to D1-AA, we will continue to be force fed media created paper tigers.

I see it as this all working out. Year after year it all works out. This opens the door for the Big12 winner to make the playoff. The only way we have any controversy is if one of the top 3 teams lose today. If they don't, then the correct 4 will go.

Just like the correct 4 have gone every year. The 2 years that controversial teams made the playoffs, those teams won it all. Which proved their being selected the correct choice.

Yeah, I think the bigger question is, are they ahead or behind Oklahoma?

If they lose and stay in they will get LSU or Clemson instead of OU which is a nightmare for them.

I think the top 4 are set as far as teams go. If Ohio State wins they are 2 or lose a close one they are 3. They will have to lose really bad to drop to 4. The committee won’t move them down to face LSU in round one unless OSU forces their hand by playing poorly and getting majorly blown out.

Yeah, that’s probably accurate. All these good games, and Clemson playing Virginia, really shows what a joke the ACC is this year. It’ll be interesting to see how good they are when they are playing teams with a similar talent level.

No kidding.  I had to do a double take watching the games after we sloshed our way in from golf.  Yes, sloshed... we got 100% of the 20% chance of rain.  Clemson gets a nice scrimmage game in prep for the final four .
