Speaking of relevance, I don't know who watched but ND St took home their 8th title today! According to an article I saw, this is the first FCS team to go undefeated and win the Natty since 1894. 16-0 is impressive imo

My vote would be Lawrence simply due to Burrows resume is only one year.

I'll take Burrows and not feel great about it. Lawrence is certainly more projectable, but his accuracy is questionable at times where Burrows hasn't been. 2 really good prospects for sure.

That’s one tough choice. I would go with Burrrrro.......Lawerence, yup Lawrence.
I don’t think there’s a bad choice either way. I like both those “kids”!

A “Power House” LSU...

And a Clemson with a chip on their shoulder... probably a large sized chip.

Hopefully the Refs don’t interfere too much and ruin it.

I know this may sound weird but I’m thinking LSU to barely squeeze out a win but Trevor Lawrence will have a good game but defense will let Clemson down.
And it could just be the other way, it’s going to be a classic, hope they don’t let us down.

This was one of the best videos of the early Rhule years. I think that was a video production guy and yes, he resembles Rhule very much. I forgot about that. That clip ended up on ESPN, fox sports, barstool... just about everywhere. Good find!

I agree that Herbert could be a very good NFL QB with the right system. The only reason I didn’t mention him was because he isn’t in the big game tomorrow.
As a Vikings fan I would rather have Hurts, Burrow, Lawrence, Herbert, Tua, or Love than Cousins! I never liked that signing from the beginning especially at the price tag.

I personally don't love Herbert as a prospect. He's extremely projectable size wise and has an absolute cannon but I've seen a bunch of accuracy issues out of him. And the games I've watched, his reads haven't been great either.

Admittedly, I've easily watched him the least of the QBs in this draft, but he's the a long way behind Burrow or Tua imo. Of course Lawrence isn't eligible till next year.

Yeah, it would've been fun to see him in the playoffs instead of OU again. Regrettably, one worthy P5 team gets left out in the current CFB playoff format. Expanding it to 6 or 8, minimum, to accommodate all P5 league champions rectifies this.

The bowls are glorified exhibition games, anyway. Every other CFB level - FCS, D2, & D3 - has a playoff tourney.

I know what you're saying, but NFL coaching goes a long way. He has the tools and the intangibles to be a quality NFL QB...imo.

I haven't formed my opinion on Fields just yet. I agree with your assessment currently, but there definitely arm talent there. Being a physical freak doesn't hurt either. We'll see if he progresses next year.

I'm not saying Herbert will be bad, but accuracy is one of the things that translates well to the NFL and Herbert's is spotty at times. Hopefully whoever drafts him will be able to let him sit behind someone for a while and learn. I hope the same for Tua for other reasons. Though they are obvious.
